Off Dynamite Grizzly’s latest album The Horses Really Like Techno (that you should really grab), this Faith Mix of Trickery showcases really well the musician’s talent at producing delightful Techno that just feels so unique, soothing, and blissful. It’s something I can’t really explain, but this track just works so well, and puts you in an enjoyable state, it almost feels nostalgic somewhat. Perhaps it is just one of the aspects of the magic of music!
Prey has been consistently releasing awesome solo music for a while, and we are now delighted to welcome the musician’s take on New Wave from the fire duo of MrMehster and N. Hollow! Mostly instrumental, this bouncy Trap remix made with love displays Prey’s talent and musical style producing underground sick beats. Definitely a collector remix!
Another collab of many wonders featuring the rapping coolness of N. Hollow, this Discord-themed track also makes a delightful use of fittingly distorted samples from the show, laying them out over a great melodic instrumental, and making the whole song quite an awesome tribute to the Deity of Dissonance!
Editor’s note: Not to be confused with Sprocket’s song of the same name 😉
If you like your orchestral music powerful and epic, you’re in for a treat here as Aurelleah’s released another of their well-crafted pieces. Featuring some beautiful composition and heavy percussive influences, the piece evolves from a bright and light beginning to a more energetic climax throughout the course of the track.
Here’s a little something from the latest Seeds of Kindness album, with one of its regular contributors! Sprocket brings a piece that steadily evolves over time, aping the way a phoenix’s life may play out with themes of life, of death, and of rebirth.
iblank2apples’ original piece is one of my all time favourite pony music tracks, so whenever I see a remix of it, it always excites me. This is my personal favourite remix of it, as it takes and builds upon the emotions initially present with some beautiful sampling, not to mention awesome percussion and bass design that helps to augment the melodic nature of the original. Most of the neurofunk-style drum & bass in the fandom is pretty dark and edgy but this piece is decidedly upbeat, and pulls off the desired atmosphere wonderfully.
DJT showcases his abilities to make the more relaxed side of electronic music work just as well as the energetic side. Sweetness and Lightning combines beautiful Fluttershy vocal chops with some pared back percussion, pretty piano and soft ambient sounds in a really lovely way.
Originally a piece by Turquoise Splash released all the way back in 2012, Polychromatic has been done up in a new coat of paint by FritzyBeat with some help from Jastrian and a very cute animation made by Yudhaikeledai. Fritzy’s vocals fit the track really well, with a similar feel to the original ones, and the mixing provided by Jastrian helps to make sure the instrumental doesn’t feel aged much at all.
It’s not often that you hear melbourne in the fandom, and it’s really done well in Dr. R4MS’ remix of Celestial Berserkers! The use of the guitar from the original is perfect & has elements from the original, while creating a new feel on its own. The progression of the whole remix is stellar & the percussion that shines in the second drop gives it more richness that makes the song as a whole sound really clean. A wonderful remix done by Dr. R4MS!
This is one collab that is sure to be addictive. HoriXZ0n & Mantlegen come together to create this fantastic electro house track that has an overall energetic atmosphere that continues and varies throughout. The mix of HoriXZ0n’s electro style & plucks, along with Mantegen’s vibrato leads are a wonderful combination that create a fun track!
