Seventh Element – Ponies On Acid | Album | Electronic

Despite being a well-established musician in the fandom (his channel goes all the way back to 2012!), it’s difficult to pin Seventh Element to any particular style of music. From Trap, to Disco, to Dark Ambient, and now a collection of Acid House and Techno beats. Time to break out the old Roland synthesizers and drum machines, we’re going back to the 80s today, kids!

I’ve said on a previously featured song from this album that Interior Design For Horses is a particular favourite of mine (the video for it is an experience like no other). Check it out along with the rest of the album, and if it’s not your cup of tea, don’t worry, 7th’s bound to be working on yet another new style of music that might be your thing.

Ponies On Acid is available to purchase from Seventh Element’s Bandcamp Page

ExplodingPonyToast, LutariFan & ThatMusicBrony – Start Again (Mr. A.M. Remix) | Dubstep

Start Again might just be the finest example of a timeless special song that will never wither, and both this amazing remix and its visuals are reflecting that very well. After all this time, it is now Mr. A.M.’s turn to give an additional life to the exceptional original, and it is with a powerful yet tender Dubstep vision that this wonderful remix plays out, along drops of pure beauty, sax-ish synth and melodies, intense bass, and reawakened vocals.

Francis Vace – So Long (Covering PrinceWhateverer) (feat. 4EverfreeBrony) | Soft Rock

When two talented musicians team up to cover a meaningful and already amazing song from another talented musician, it can only result in something awesomazing! Turning the original Metal track into a Soft Rock version and featuring 4EverfreeBrony‘s vocals, this cover does a mighty job at conveying the depth of the theme through emotional vocals from both singers, and a top-notch instrumental courtesy of Francis Vace. A wonderful cover indeed, from the album The Old Mare And The Sea that is out now!

Another masterpiece from GhostXb, this Hip-Hop instrumental shines with magic that only he could make. A soothing yet intriguing musical mood, blissful drums, and very emotional strings melodies, make the piece an incredible gem and token of talent and unique musical vision. Elias Frost – Best Friends Until the End of Time (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Metal

Elias Frost did it again!! Bringing the delightful Metal vibes to S7’s first song as part of a “royal duty”, the musician provides an alternate version full of sick guitar riffs and drums, and epic vocals. There’s even extra teacups! It’s like not even our writeups would be safe from Trixie’s antics when [teacup!] did the [teacup!] to [teacup!]

Daniel Ingram – Best Friends Until the End of Time (TCB Remix) | Future Trap

I guess we were all really hanging out for some new official show songs. It makes sense, the last show song was more than eight months ago (slightly less if you count Legend Of Everfree). Enter Best Friends Until the End of Time and suddenly we’ve got more remixes than you could shake a stick at. This particular version takes a very unique approach to the source material, and brings it to a really chill downtempo place. Combining thethe original melody, vocal chops and future chords with trap kick and hithat rolls, it creates something that almost feels like it shouldn’t work, but very certainly does.
