NEW MUMBLE?! Well, not quite. Taken from a 2015 EP of remixed MLP songs, but new to YouTube, Mumble put his unique spin on Music In The Treetops with a sort of electro twist that moves from straight time to triplets and back again, keeping a hard-hitting glitchy bassline throughout the entire song.
More cute Christmassy vibes (even if they are a little belated on our part!) this time from Zephysonas and CrystalData. It’s a short but sweet piece that incorporates and transitions between many different parts of an orchestra, as well as harps and nice little jingly bells in the background.
I always love to hear everything that DJT comes up with, and a collaboration with vocalist Metajoker is most welcome. The vocals are top notch, and fit in excellently with the instrumental. The instrumental itself also holds itself high with some terrific energy during a high energy chord-filled house-y drop, plus some fantastic lead synth composition towards the end.
I didn’t expect so many people to be releasing music over the holidays, but there’s almost an abundance of lovely Christmassy orchestral pieces including this one by Sonic Hooves. Little plucked harps and bells make great aural representations of snowfall and the rising and falling of the strings carries the steady progression of this piece.
Budzy’s wubs are always good fun to listen to, and this riddim-style piece is excellently produced. Making good use of some vocal samples from Tirek, it then heads into a bit-crushed drop with plenty of groove to it, with enough of a switch up for the second drop to keep it interesting.
It was just a matter of time until Elias tackled covering this song, and he’s done it pretty well, as always. With more of a rock slant than usual, his vocals are great, and the mixture of more energetic upbeat sections and some slower parts works well. Check it out for some good fun!
What a powerful song, Changelings need love too! Luck Rock did an awesome punk / power pop anthem, with really catchy lyrics and really awesome guitar riffs and with amazing drumming! The vocals are on point, one of the things that I love from Luck Rock is the vocal harmonies. The lyrics are really deep and I love how it describes the feeling of the Changelings, demanding that they are good and that they demand more love! Good job Luck, keep up the good work!
Happy belated Luna Day! Let’s celebrate with an emotional and uplifting progressive house track done by The Midnight Musician! The emotional lyrics and the chill synths are full of flavor and texture. Almost 3 minutes of pure feelings, with amazing use of the potentials of the progressive house genre. Midnight musician did an amazing job and you should be listening to it right now. What are you waiting for? Go listen to this amazing piece of art. Imagine yourself driving through the night listening to this, it just feels great! Keep up the good work Mid!
Known for his creativity and wide variety of talents, Francis Vace ventures into the world of synthwave with this track. Utilizing some cool, crazy synths in combination with the vocals we all know so well, Vace creates his own kind of unique ambience around the season 7 gem. With fun and silly edits to the choruses as well as amazing synth breaks from the singing, this is a truly distinct, inspiring piece!
The very last Twitch song ever, and it’s a pony song! This one has an interesting history, related in the video’s description. And it’s got those archetypal, lovely Twitch techno sounds, as well as the Faulty feel. I’ve Got to Find a Way has long been one of my favorite songs from the show, and this remix of it is truly inspired.
