[P@D] Jyc Row & WoodLore – Flamethrone Legacy (feat. Karen Warren) | Epic Orchestral

Jyc Row has released some pretty incredible collaborative works in the past, but this possibly tops the lot of them. An epic orchestral instrumental filled with many of the hallmarks of a classic Jyc masterpiece is supplemented by exceptionally strong vocals by WoodLore and Karen Warren. The lyrics work brilliantly at conveying the story of Princess Ember’s trials in convincing her father she is worthy to carry on his legacy as dragon lord.

[HMC] Budzy – Risen | Dubstep

Budzy’s wubs just keep getting heavier, with this perhaps being his most aggressive tune yet. An atmospheric build-up follows quickly into a drop full of long, drawn out powerful bass noises, before morphing into some other very cool wobbles.

[LDB] NeoN – Worth (feat. Kozmos) | Tropical House

Not so much rap in the fandom nowadays compared to in the past, but there’s been some improvement on that front recently with a few new people coming to the fore a bit more! NeoN has teamed up with rapper Kozmos to produce a super cool tropical house tune with great vocals and nice synths.

MC-Arch – I am Alive. | Hip Hop

MC-Arch has released an album/mixtape of a bunch of his tunes, so it’s a great way to check out what he has to offer – soulful and heartfelt vocals about what’s important to him in life, with more a little dose of Fluttershy to be found throughout.

[LDB] SDreamExplorerS – Burden | Neurofunk

SDreamExplorerS has given electronic music a try, and despite normally producing metal, he’s done a pretty good job with drum & bass too! Strong melodies combine with solid neuro basslines to make a super cool experience with plenty of energy.

[P@D] Faulty – Sunrise | Melodic House

Faulty hasn’t been around all that long, but he’s already produced some awesome tracks, and this is probably my favourite so far from him! Some of the best use of Applejack’s vocals I’ve heard combine with super happy synths and awesome melodies galore. Very much in the style of other artists such as John Kenza/Kadenza, this nonetheless stands out on its own thanks to the awesome stylistic choices throughout the track.

[P@D] GhostXb – They Mustn’t See Me Cry (feat. BriLizy T) | Orchestral Hip Hop

GhostXb is really getting good at this hip hop-influenced orchestral style, and this is certainly his best track of that nature yet! Featuring gorgeous emotional Sunset Shimmer vocals from BriLizy T, the hip hop percussion combines brilliantly with light orchestral strings and some nice subtle guitar too. The song tells the tale of Sunset struggling with her emotions whilst transitioning from foe to friend to the Mane 6.

Mane In Green – Moment Musical | Orchestral

This piece from Mane In Green lies heavily on its incredibly strong composition, with an increasingly complex violin-centric piece. It feels as if Octavia is putting on a concert performance that steadily increases to a grand crescendo before it ends!

[P@D] Budzy – The Time’s Come | Dubstep

Budzy is at it again with some sick wubs, and this time they come with a big dose of Flutterbat. The vocal samples from the show work really well, especially when they’re chopped up in the second drop, and there’s a generous helping of strong chords and crunchy wobbles. The flow is exceptional through the track, so make sure to check it out below!
