[P@D] BlueBrony – Tale Of The Valley Colts (feat. Cadie) | Folk/Orchestral

BlueBrony’s works always stand out for being quite different to what everybody else is doing, and here is probably his best example of that yet! With some beautiful storytelling in the way of lovely smooth vocals, some terrific voice acting segments and an array of different images that help to convey the lyrics, there’s obviously a lot of thought that’s gone into telling this tale. The orchestral instruments are all lovely too, and perfectly complement the vocals that weave a story of a valiant colt defending his home from a terrifying dragon. Check it out below!

[P@D] DJT & UndreamedPanic – Ragnarok | Bass House

DJT has been quite the genre chameleon recently, his style evolving to suit his collaborative partner, and this time is no different! UndreamedPanic is the fandom’s king of bass house and it totally shows here as in combination with DJT there is a whole heap of neat sound design on show. Featuring some lovely soft and well-textured breaks to give some contrast as well, this is otherwise quite the banger. Check it out below!

PrinceWhateverer – False Crown (feat. Sable Symphony) | Metal

Some more new music from Prince! Featuring some help from Sable Symphonies with the vocals, there’s a whole heap to like about this one. Classic Prince vocals, awesome guitars and powerful drums combine to help make this a pretty kick-ass track! Check it out below!

Silva Hound – Sound Of The Summer (feat. Nowaking & Lyde) | House

Another new track from Silva, this is his BronyCon track and features vocals from both Nowaking and Lyde. The vocals throughout are pretty awesome, and the summer-y way the track builds up is super fun too, before dropping into some future-influenced big room interspersed by some neat sound design. Check it out below the break!

[ASOS] fractilx & UndreamedPanic – Enter | Trance

A helping of fractilx from A State Of Sugar’s recent Lollipop album! This is their collab with UndreamedPanic, which combines a fast-paced beat with fractilx’s signature hardcore synth sounds and some really great melodies through the piece.

[P@D] UndreamedPanic – Flying Higher | Progressive House

UndreamedPanic has produced some pretty awesome bass house tracks recently, but he’s gone back to his roots a bit more with this latest release. Featuring good use of vocals and excellent synth melodies, this is definitely a super groovy track, and it comes packaged with some nice footage of Twilight’s battle with Tirek. Check it out below the break!

Elias Frost – Dance Magic (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Metal

Elias Frost is back to some more show song covers, with a nice video of the performance like he normally has alongside them. This is a somewhat heavy cover of Dance Magic from the Equestria Girls specials, and he’s done a good job of maintaining the feel of the original whilst giving it some of his own twists as well. Check it out below!

StealingShad3z – A Short Song For Young Hearts | Acoustic

Stealing Shad3z has a great voice which he uses well in most of his productions. Here the focus is almost entirely on that aspect of his musicality, alongside some lovely acoustic guitar. The stripped down instrumental allows for focus on the vocals and lyrics being performed about the goings on in The Perfect Pear. Check it out below!

Elias Frost – Stories Vol. I | Folk / Orchestral

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 12 April 2017

Elias Frost has a pretty big treat for those who like folk-style orchestral music! His new EP ‘Stories Vol. 1′ has just released, featuring a number of tracks that tell a symphonic story of Princess Platinum. There’s some lovely variety, with some more uplifting pieces, as well as ones that are obviously a lot more folk-y oriented. A couple of them, Royal Duty and Party At Puddinghead’s have already been featured before so may be recognisable, but there’s a bunch of new stuff here too. Give the EP video a listen, and check it out on Elias’ bandcamp!
