Another pretty awesome electro house track here! Here we have an upbeat remix of You’ll Play Your Part from NeverLastStanding, featuring his trademark electro synths and some cool distorted plucks in the intro. It’s a pretty strong remix of one of my favourite tracks from the show.

Pony Music – Times | Drum & Bass

NB: This is an edited version of what was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 2 January 2017.

This dnb crew have been on fire recently, and the tunes just don’t stop coming! Liquid drum & bass is a lot more chilled out, and so it makes sense to pair it with some Fluttershy vocals, which Pony Music has done to great effect.

Totalspark & Kawaii Dash – Ramune | Nu Disco / House

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 1 January 2017.

Totalspark and Kawaii Dash combine here to bring a weeb-y, whomp-y combination of neat sounds that help form a pretty cool future bass track. As is often the case with Totalspark tracks the chords are pretty interesting, whilst the Kawaii Dash influence is obvious in the way they whomp in with flair. Definitely worth checking out if you want some light and fluffy future!

Good sampling, great drums, and some neat bass design from his friend Age Of Vinyl all combine to deliver a somewhat haunting yet energetic drum & bass tune from Hay Tea. He’s been on fire recently and that doesn’t stop here with some really neat music about sad Derpy.

If you like WoodLore’s style, you’ll love this. Strongly focused on his trademark vocals, this piece shows them off in a great way. There’s some quality guitar-work as well as some uplifiting strings later in the track as it builds up towards the end. Flutter Rex – Swarm is Coming | Industrial

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 29 December 2016.

Flutter Rex returns to the scene for the first time in a while with a track rooted in industrial design, though it feels like it has influences from all over the place, with a pretty glitchy procession of heavy and powerful sounds. If strong, aggressive industrial music is something you’re keen on, this is definitely something you’ll want to check out!
