Time for another top 10, with plenty of Nightmare Night themed songs in the mix this time! Check it out to see if any of your favourites made it in this month…

It’s late notice, but it’s happening!!!11!1! A State of Sugar, the brony fandom’s sweetest music collective, are releasing their latest album Doughnut tomorrow! Not only will there be an album livestream hosted on PonyvilleFM, playing through the new album in its entirety, but also a release party in Pony Town on the events server. The party starts at 3pm UTC (10am Eastern); set your alarms now because there’s less than 24 hours to go!

The album is also available to pre-order on A State of Sugar’s bandcamp page, and will be released after the party.

The results from last month’s vote are in! It’s neat as well to have a little reminder in these videos about what was happening 10 years ago in the fandom music scene. But come back to the present and you’ll find a nice mix of musicians and styles selected from throughout September.

Last month had another bountiful selection of music to choose from – going by Luck’s September playlist, there’s over 150 songs to choose from in this month’s voting! As always you can vote for between 3 and 10 songs as long using the form in the video description and stay tuned later this month to discover the community favourites. The form closes at 3pm Eastern on 8 October, so get your votes in soon!

Last month’s top 10 is out! Without giving too much away, I’m surprised that we have a such a strong representation of rock subgenres! The rolling releases from P@D: Zenith are still ongoing, but will they take the top spot? You’d better watch the video to find out!

Want to submit a song or album to HMH? Now there’s a new and easier way to do so! Traditionally, we’ve been reliant on our staff members scouting for songs to post about. However, it’s easy for us to miss something in our YouTube subscriptions and we might not spot new artists immediately. So we made a submissions form for anyone to submit their music to HMH!

You can submit your own music or someone else’s at this online form.

Submitting guarantees that we will check out the music and consider it for a post. All submissions will be subjected to our usual review procedure.

EDIT: We are unlikely to accept anything over a month old. If you do submit something older than a month, we will make sure we follow the artist to catch their next release.
