After a few weeks of releasing individual tracks, Direct Current has released their Eccentric EP, inspired by various aspects of the MLP universe. Homesickness affects us all, even Sunset Shimmer. DC imagines Shimmy returning to the world and the friends she left behind with this wonderfully composed song.
Track 5 – Moonlight
Overall, this EP showcases Direct Current’s great skill for creating different ambiances, as if each song is a soundtrack to a new story. I for one cannot wait to hear more songs from DC, and look forward to that game soundtrack I heard they’re working on too ;D
