[P@D] Voodoo Pup ft. Dangerous Moonlight & Michael Picher – I Wanna Be Professional | Ska

You might be right to think that a ska song about Ms. Harshwhinny and Pacific Glow is a crackpot idea. But what is crazy is that it actually really works! The ’80s-sounding two-tone has a classy vibe, and Pacific Glow (the rave pony from The Saddle Row Review) looking up at Ms. Harshwhinny’s big city business would be at home Broadway performance, i.e. perfect for the Limelight theme of the recent Ponies At Dawn.

If you like Voodoo Pup’s music, go follow him on YouTube, Bandcamp, and Bluesky!

Foozogz x RhymeFlow– Everyone But Me (ft. Mei) | Pop

Foozogz shows his snoot every once in a while these days, and he always delivers. On this latest release he tries something new, and combines his punchy electronic melodies with RhymeFlow’s bars. The track is about missing out on a pony convention while all your friends are having a blast, so it’s best to sit back and raise a glass to all the good times past and still to come.

Essential Brony Musicians 05: Derpidety

As far as I know, Derpidety never had a pony OC

Let’s cover another iconic instrumentalist. In contrast to last post’s metal artist, we will now listen to one of the most gentle musicians, Derpidety. He has described his genre as indie rock or post-rock, and his inspirations are Explosions In The Sky, Bloc Party, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and Modest Mouse. I personally feel his guitar play is reminiscent of The Shadows, but that’s just me. Besides guitar, he also plays piano, drums, and bass.

Essential Brony Musicians 04: ismBoF

ismBoF (I never understood why his profile pic is green Tom)

Introduction: Hey fellow pony music fans, my name is DuxTape and I hope to be writing articles about pony music from time to time. Essential Brony Musicians was a series I had started on Daily Dose Of Pony, and will be continuing here on Horse Music Herald. If you are interested in more, check out my previous articles covering WoodLore, Evening Star / Marcus Warner, and Tarby.

Today I’m highlighting ismBoF, also known as ISMBOFepicly, or more recently as BoffleFloffe. The name “ismBoF” being a parody of the band I Set My Friends On Fire, but with “bronies” instead. Though he never performed at any conventions, he produced more than his share of music, so let’s dive in!

Turquoise Splash – A Splash of Color | Pop Punk Album

Turquoise Splash has been in the fandom since its peak days. He wrote songs like Polychromatic, The Twilight Will Rise, and So Much Left To See. You may also know Canterlot Nights, a collaboration between him & Forest Rain. Despite having produced quite a few songs over the years, he never produced an album.

Until now! You may have expected something acoustic, but instead, A Splash of Color is 41 minutes of pure pop punk. Sit back and enjoy the full spectrum of youthfully energetic joy and angst (I mean that in the best possible way). Half the songs feature other famous artists from the fandom, making this is a real group effort.
