Perne – Sirens Lament | Gabber

Imagine a future where the Sirens won the Battle of the Bands… Courtesy of Equestrian Terror Corps comes Sirens Lament, the title track from Pernegyre’s upcoming album! In contrast to his last release, this one showcases an overwhelmingly heavy gabber style that belongs in a hardcore rave room! The drums charge through everything that comes in its way as the bass rumbles loudly while the occasional voice sample from one of the Dazzlings pops in occasionally. Safe to say that gabber is the brutal death metal of the EDM world!

Perne – Hey Sweetie! | Trance

Perne returns with a new standalone track based around Sweetie Belle, and this one sure amps up the sweetness with the bouncy melodies. Hey Sweetie is a very fast yet beautiful trance song with heavenly choirs and memorable synth hooks. It’s like something straight out of the 90s or 2000s with all the stylistic sound choices, and I’ll sure call that a win in my book!

Altius Volantis – Lullaby | Ambient

The result of a sleepless night, Lullaby seeks to soothe your insomnia. This piece is dreamy and laid-back, relying on soft layers of synths and piano chords to create a cozy atmosphere. Towards the end, a lovely set of pad chords comes in, indicating that the sleep realm is very close. If you need something to help you sleep, get some headphones on and turn this up!

Tw3Lv3 – Zer0 | Lo-Fi

More lo-fi goodness from Tw3Lv3! Zer0 has a slow, nostalgic feeling to it, implied by the Delta Vee’s Junkyard image in the video. The bell chords and slow bass really add to that feeling, especially in the short breakdown when the bells have a reversed fade-in. Simplicity can often be beautiful.

StableTwoStallion & Koron Korak – Twi and Rares do a Jam | Industrial Metal

This collab has a unique approach, as you’ll need to watch this with two videos playing at the same time! Twi and Rares do a Jam depicts a scenario where they’re set to perform on stage, with their voices provided by 15.ai. Once they’re done talking, a short but heavy instrumental plays, showing off Stable‘s signature metal style with some electronic additions from Koron Korak. Even as a light-hearted April Fools day gag, it sounds pretty great!

Jyc Row – Equestria Assemble | Orchestral

Equestria, assemble! Jyc Row’s first track of the year is Equestria Assemble, a hefty orchestral piece inspired by the Avengers. Based on the S9 finale, the song jumps straight into the powerful side of things without letting up, signifying the combined forces of Equestria coming together to stop the evil reigns of Tartarus’ most valued tyrants. An epic piece of imagery requires an equally epic sound to go along with it!
