From Waffle, the latest compilation from A State of Sugar comes a VIP version of Cynifree and Zizkil‘s From Here To Where, originally from Ice Cream! While the original was a jumpy and cheerful progressive house piece that definitely suited the Kirins, this one shows their harsher Nirik side with the use of aggressive synths, harsh leads and a chopped up vocal sample of Autumn Blaze. The two producers have come together once again to make something heavy-hitting and definitely something you can bang your head to!

Rarity Advocate – Rarity | Jazz
A unique piece, this one. This song almost seems to transcend genre definitions with all the elements in this song. It combines elements of music from many generations, such as implementing electronic bass and synth lines with jazzy drums and a very prominent harpsichord throughout. As the song goes on, it goes through various phases and moods, ranging from a cheery section which eventually slows down into a sudden dramatic riff before starting right back up again. All the while, the song remains elegant, just like our very own Rarity. Coupled with a PMV, it makes for a perfect tribute to Equestria’s greatest fashionista!
Tw3Lv3 – Canterlot Suburb | Lo-fi
Short but sweet, Tw3Lv3 returns to give us a chilled out lofi beat. A minimal song – only containing a bassline, a drum track and a filtered guitar sample – it serves as a good background track, perfect for walking down a calm, empty street in the morning. Good luck getting this funky track out of your head!
Night Blaze – Concordia Draconis | Soundtrack
A song about dragons needs to be epic, right? Well, this track delivers in spades. It starts off with a calming piano riff with bells quietly going off in the background, but quickly builds up into an epic orchestral piece with heavy drums and driving string instruments, supplemented with a distorted guitar lead right at the climax. Night Blaze says this is the opening track to his upcoming album. If this is how it starts, then we can only expect great things from the rest of the album!
Tw3Lv3 – Starlight’s Dream (feat. ShobieShy) | Hip-Hop
The real Glim Shady returns with some bars about Starlight Glimmer! Accompanied with a chilled out beat from Tw3Lv3, he goes on to tell a story about Starlight’s growth and development throughout the show in two parts: her despair and guilt behind what she had done in the past, only to realise it was all a dream and that Equestria has accepted her into their arms. All this, bridged with a sample between Luna and Glimglam, makes for a relaxed yet emotional listening session. Hats off to this duo!
Rusty Thorsell – Hazy Hallow | Indie Pop
Rusty’s unique musical mind has spawned another great song! The track contains a unique blend of EDM with string instruments joined with his wordless, yet melodious vocals, creating a psychedelic feeling all throughout. All this, coupled with the flashy and distorted light show of his horse, brings forth a unique experience for the eyes and ears; don’t miss out on this one, everycreature!
Power Note – Late Night | Synthwave
When the night has come and the land is dark, this track should suit the mood perfectly. Power Note brings forth a chilled out synthwave number with voice samples of Fluttershy. The synth-driven beat and her voice seem to be a match made in heaven. Sounds like a beautiful combination, right? Even when she’s not singing, the music still sounds fresh and full, even during the soft synth and piano breakdown. Synthwave and electronic lovers alike, you’ll all love this!
Zephysonas – Kirin Forest | Orchestral
Another gem from the great Zephysonas. This time, we’ve got a number that’ll definitely bring you to another place. Throughout are the soft sounds of nature, complete with relaxing piano chords and string instruments, bringing a calming atmosphere, definitely reminiscent of the Kirin. If you need to relax or just need some soothing background noise to help you with anything, this is your piece.

Moon Flame, powered by the magic of friendship, has woven together another lovely tune! Much like his other material, this one takes influence from 80s pop ballads, from the slow pace to the synth melodies in the background. Flame sings about friendship, a topic near and dear to him; no matter where life can bring you, friendship always triumphs in the end!
Checkerëd – Appleshake (General Mumble Remix) | Psybounce
Checkerëd’s first release in a year, and it’s a remix of an older song from fandom veteran General Mumble! While it puts a new spin on the old classic, it keeps some elements of the original track, such as samples from the show and… you can probably guess the other thing. Anyway, for fans new and old, this is a bouncy, enjoyable tune that’ll no doubt shake up the club!
