Wandering Artist’s third track from their Autumn EP, “First Wind,” is a wonderful and warm song perfectly fitting of the season. It opens with a lovely duet between guitar and marimba, then violin, oboe, clarinet, flute, piano and harp are added in over the course of the song with each getting their own turn in the spotlight before blending back in to the mix. The piece is light and airy overall, making it the perfect track to cozy up to any time of year!

Biscuit – SOMBRA (2023 redux) | Deathcore
Biscuit’s “SOMBRA (2023 redux)” is the kind of track which will have you wondering whether you are listening to My Little Pony fan music or a metal band fresh out of hell because this has got to be one of the most dark, the most intense, the most hardcore songs in the fandom. It starts with the thundering of guitars and immediately jumps to intensity 10 with its throbbing bass drum, wailing guitars, and screaming vocals. Listen carefully, and you’ll hear tons of references to Sombra’s tyranny and great quips like “you will not live any longer / your stupid friendship isn’t stronger.” Mid song, there’s a break as it eases into a more ambient section with strings and long guitar plucks before it returns to its screaming conclusion. As it stands, the track is absolutely killer, but will you be brave enough to listen all the way through?
Algo at All – lemons are nice | Plunderphonics
Algo at All has released another track that’ll make you fall in love with a background pony you may have forgotten. “lemons are nice” is a tribute to Lemon Hearts and makes full use of her vocal lines from the show, though the track is so much more than that! It features many synths all blended together, from basics sounds like square waves, wailing whistles, and bloops to form an adorable texture that will make your (lemon) heart melt! It also features other clever sounds like plucked strings and horse trotting for percussion. There’s just so many wonderful sounds that this track will have you listening on repeat to enjoy them all!
Daniel Ingram – Jingle Bells (Faulty & Whirly Tail Remix) | Happy Hardcore
Christmas may have passed already, but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep up the holiday spirit! Faulty and Whirly Tail teamed up this season to deliver one heck of a remix of “Jingle Bells” from the official “It’s A Pony Kind Of Christmas” album. It starts out all cute with the sound of a music box, before smashing its way into a high energy banger with a strong kick, snare, and bass matching the frantic nature of the lyrics. It’s accompanied by NekoSnicker’s art depicting the Mane 6 on their distressing sleigh ride, and while it won’t be your relaxing kind of carol, it is sure to bring MAXIMUM HYPE for the occasion.
General Mumble – Monster Party (feat. Koa)[covering The Wilders] | Pop
Coming out right on Halloween this year, General Mumble’s cover of “Monster Party” is a spooktacular take on the original. Mumble’s version features a ferocious, gnarly bass synth as well as a more prominent organ, both of which enhance the spookiness of the track and give it some extra bite. He is joined by Koa on vocals, and the two of them alternate back and forth singing the verses. Their performance is a hit, and they also do an excellent job on all the little background vocals sprinkled in. Overall, this song will be sure to have you delightfully dancing all night!
Nugget – Dreams | Orchestral
Nugget’s latest track, “Dreams” is a simple yet elegant lullaby. It opens with the quietness and calmness of just harp, layered in with some lovely cicada chirping before a flute joins in to form a duet. Towards the middle, it then flushes out with brass and strings to form a full and warm sound. It takes a bit of a darker turn towards the end before returning back to just harp and cicadas, completing the cycle. It fits the dream vibe perfectly and is a lovely piece to listen to on any evening.
Radiarc – Into Deep | Hybrid Orchestral
Radiarc is back with an incredible soundscape for everypony to behold. “Into Deep” is as it sounds, a exquisitely beautiful, dark, ambient and deep instrumental track. Over its course, you’ll hear a wide variety of sounds from wailing guitar, to dangling piano arpeggios, strained string, and some incredible effects using reverb. Throughout, the track evolves, slowly becoming more dark over time before returning and fading out with just piano. It’s a very introspective track with many elements which’ll will keep you intrigued beyond the first listen.
rawrity – brink! | Pop
Rawrity’s back with something a little different than her usual stuff. “Brink” comes with a live-action music video and is both peppy and catchy with its prominent saxophone and pony vocal chops. Don’t let what’s on the surface fool you – a lot of its lyrics hint at something amiss like “off course” and “they got to know I’m not alright.” That’s likely attributed to rawrity’s own grief at the passing of her mother. “Brink” serves as a lovely tribute to her and is definitely worth checking out.
MC-Arch x KingKlang – Still here… | Hip Hop
MC-Arch teases us with another track from the upcoming album, You Got Me I Got Us Part 3. “Still here” is an anthem about change, with nods to the transition from G4 to G5 as well as personal change and becoming a hero. MC-Arch’s flow and delivery are stellar, and mid song he throws down words so fast he must have set an academy record! KingKlang’s beat packs a punch while simultaneously feeling smooth and relaxed. The whole thing is accompanied by a lovely music video featuring epic shots of MC-Arch performing, clips from the show, and convention photos and footage. All in all, there’s so much thought put into this and many angles in which it stands out. Outstanding work!
SCR4TCHK4T – Euphoric Hoofsteps | Progressive House
SCR4TCHK4T’s “Euphoric Hoofsteps” is a slick house track that will have you grooving on your hooves! It begins minimally, just a smooth beat accompanied by organ and sweeping effects, growing into a fuller sound with synth arpeggios, splashes of piano, and ultimately a nice thick saw synth. It also make nice use of pony vocal chops, bouncing between different character’s voices as the tune swells into the drop. It’s quite a pleasant bop to take a listen to.
