Flittzy – Take A Chance | Acoustic Pop

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 5 October 2016.

Flittzy has been around for a bit, but this is their first appearance on the site under said alias, previously known as ChickenSteve. Here he’s released a pop rock style track where the centerpiece is absolutely his vocals, which are really the main thing here that make the song really fun to listen to – definitely worth a listen if you like upbeat pop-y rock stuff.

A Symphony Of Two – Unite | Orchestral

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 5 October 2016.

A Symphony Of Two return with another orchestral track. This one starts softly, and builds in both emotion and strength as it goes. This is evident both in the drum programming and the string use. A solemn break in the middle makes way for a more uplifting second half, in a track that flows very smoothly. Definitely worth checking out.

4everfreebrony – Bound With Time (Synthis Remix) | Drum & Bass

NB: This is an edited version of what was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 2 October 2016.

Start the day with a 4everfreebrony song, end it with a remix of it! This remix from Synthis turns up the tempo and adds some bass to the mix that helps to accentuate some of the good qualities of the original whilst also giving it a distinctly Synthis flair.

Jyc Row – Land of Equestria | Orchestral

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 1 October 2016.

It always surprises me how Jyc Row is able to so quickly and consistently put out such cool orchestral music, but it’s definitely not a bad thing! Here he’s released a piece that absolutely feels like it takes in the majesty and breadth of the ‘Land of Equestria’, with all his trademark signature sounds to it, as well as a very pretty-sounding arpeggiated bell sound throughout the middle of the track. Definitely check it out if you like powerful orchestral stuff!

Duo Cartoonist – Trust In Me | Orchestral

With something that sounds like its come straight out of a Disney movie, Duo Cartoonist, producers of the much celebrated Children of the Night, have released their first original piece of music, featuring the talents of a whole bunch of people who helped out to make it a reality. If Disney villain music is your kind of thing, you’ll probably love this.

Ponytronic – Crescent Lament (Vylet Remix) | Jungle Terror

Just wow, Vylet’s done some pretty crazy stuff recently sound design-wise and this is absolutely one of the most out there ones. Here he’s released a remix for Ponytronic’s upcoming album, and he’s taken the jungle terror route – though, this being Vylet, it definitely doesn’t constrain itself to the one genre.

Totalspark & Xavi – Senpai Material | Progressive House

Totalspark and Xavi have teamed up and produced a track about Sunshet Shimmer, whom they’ve evidently decided is totally senpai material. A soft, gently flowing track, this one doesn’t stand out boldly at any point, but it’s really nice to listen to.

[SNMS] Progressive Element – Crystal Fragments | Liquid Drum & Bass

Fresh from the Shika No Mori album released recently, Progressive Element brings us an immersive liquid drum and bass experience filled with wonderfully mixed in vocal samples and some really neat drum breaks – definitely a favourite of mine from the album!

Radiarc – I Know | Orchestral

Recently having been generally a proponent of some of the more dark and atmospheric orchestral releases in the fandom, here brings something a little different to that. Fitting beautifully to the chosen artwork is this calm, sombre piece that causes much contemplation.
