Midnight Musician – Another World | Progressive House
Midnight Musician has released some awesome electronic music in the past, including his track for P@D Starlit Flames, as well as his innovative trap remix of Discord. In this new track he showcases his vocal abilities, and his ability to make a really quite beautiful song – I love the chord structure of the main part of the song. This is definitely one of my favourite tracks of the month so far – you should all go check it out!
Lunar Dance – Promises | Progressive House
Lunar Dance has burst onto the scene recently with some really well produced electronic tracks. This track is an anthemic progressive house track called Promises, and it’s probably my favourite track of theirs so far – definitely somebody to look out for!
Totalspark – Crash | Melodic Electro
From the prolific Totalspark comes a heavier track compared to his usual stuff, with a Rainbow Dash inspired melodic electro track that just makes you want to bounce along to the beat.
DoctorSympony – Taming the Everfree | Electronic Orchestral
From relatively new musician DoctorSympony comes this haunting orchestral track, heavy with electronic elements that help to add atmosphere. Whilst the production quality could be improved, the story told by the composition on offer is well worth a listen.
Aurelleah – The Artist (Life) | Piano Aria
One of a rare breed of pony musicians who is proficient in both orchestral and EDM music, today Aurelleah brings us one of his beautiful little piano arias that often come in-between more major releases, celebrating Lauren Faust.
Woona – Universe | Complextro
From the relatively unknown as of yet Russian electronic musician Woona, comes this promising complextro track. There are some some pretty cool sounds in the drops!
PON3 – Rapture [Ark EP] | Chillstep
PON3 is without a doubt one of the best electronic artists going around in the fandom, and here he showcases that with Rapture, a chillstep track from his new Ark EP, awash with immersive sounds and brilliant vocal chops.
KD x XAVI – Ayyyyyy! | Trap
XAVI tends to explore a lot of the less-often traversed landscapes in the pony music scene, such as future house and future bass, but here with KD he brings his ethereal interpretation of trap to the fore.
Daniel Ingram – Equestria Girls (Danielkon Remix) | House
Equestria Girls may not be loved by everybody, but most of us can agree that it at least gives Daniel Ingram a chance to put together some pretty great tunes, and one of my favourites is definitely the title track (also known as the ‘Cafeteria Song’). Here, Danielkon superbly remixes it in a fun house style that complements the original vocals very well.
