Another release from A State of Sugar’s recent compilation album, Bubblegum, this track showcases Zizkil’s penchant for inventive sound design and combining elements from different genres seamlessly. It also features some wonderful original art by Fizzle Soda! The mix is clean enough to please purists and heavy enough to satisfy the headbangers. It combines elements of trap, drum & bass, dubstep, and even a bit of orchestral. It’s a pretty frantic track and perfectly evokes the chaos of a Changeling invasion and Queen Chrysalis commandeering it all. If crazy sound design and heavy uptempo music is your thing, or if you’ve enjoyed Zizkil’s work in the past, this ain’t one to miss.

[ASOS] Nevermourn & Paloris – Night Time Lullabies | Liquid Drum & Bass
Drumscape Library is back with another new release, one from A State of Sugar’s Bubblegum, this time by channel regular Nevermourn and the wonderfully talented Paloris. This track is very appropriately titled, as the soft piano hits, vibrating bass, and snappy breaks backed by the sweet strings are very evocative of the Princess of Night. It’s at parts highly energetic and, at others, very soothing. Check it out if you’re a fan of more chilled DnB.
iblank2apples – Flutterwander (NeverLastStanding Remix) | Drum & Bass
It’s always such a treat for the ears with every Drumscape Library upload. Isn’t it amazing how timeless those vocals from So Many Wonders are? With this tune, NeverLastStanding flips the synthwave-inspired Flutterwander on its head, while still retaining the beyond-catchy vocal chops from iblank’s original. The lead in this song is infectious in catchiness and in how friggin’ happy it is (something NLS specializes in). The song never feels like it takes a break energy-wise, which is something I personally love in any drum and bass song. The punchy kick in the breakdown, coupled with the clean-as-usual mixing from NLS, make this track sure to please any fandom DnB connoisseur!
This track is available as part of A State of Sugar Bubblegum.
The Cosine Pitchshifterz – On Your Face (NeverLastStanding Remix) | Hardstyle
Talk about a transformative remix! The prodigious and insanely versatile NeverLastStanding has blessed us with another awesome hardstyle remix, this time of Cosine’s On Your Face. NLS’ propensity for making ridiculously catchy melodies with pony vocal chops is in full effect here, and the dialogue samples from the original are used in a way very befitting of the atmosphere. The mixdown here is also great, with the kick cutting through the mix in a very satisfying way. Seems like we’ve been getting quite a lot of good horse hardstyle lately, so here’s another to add to your playlist!
Note: Since the original video got removed, you may find the MP3 file of the song here.
DJT & Rusyd Rosman – Breathing Space (Shuffle Horse Remix)| Deep House / Bounce
I’ve not heard Shuffle Horse’s music before apart from his song on the recent A State of Sugar compilation, Bubblegum, but color me impressed! This remix of DJT and Rusyd Rosman’s lovely Breathing Space focuses on a tight groove and, boy, the shuffle in Shuffle Horse’s is in full effect on this song. This has to be one of the most danceable pony songs of the year. The potential for bangers to come is insane with this guy, definitely one to look out for! Did I mention he’s 15?
Eurobeat Brony – Luna 2018 (feat. Odyssey) | Eurobeat
Continuing the trend of 2018 comebacks, after two whole years, the original brony musician returns, this time with a remake of his first original pony song, Luna. Though he has been very active in playing pony conventions, this is his first Suffice to say, it’s everything you could ever ask for in a remake and more. The beginning features some breathtaking orchestration before introducing the lead melody we all know and love. The mixing is sharper, the atmosphere is augmented three times over, and Odyssey’s vocals retain the same charm as the original. This one’s essential, guys. And, just like the original, if you’re not a fan of growled vocals, there’s a Dream Mode to go along with the Nightmare Mode linked above.
Andy Feelin – Шесть замечательных поней (Six Little Ponies) (feat. Tooi) | Gypsy Jazz
Here’s something a little different! Andy Feelin of the prolific Przewalski’s Ponies brings some groovy, almost gypsy jazz-esque vibes with this one, and Tooi delivers some heavenly vocals with lyrics about the ponies exploring the Everfree Forest, the northern mountains, and other parts of Equestria. Check this one out if you’re a fan of Lenich and Kirya’s gypsy jazz or Przewalski’s Ponies!
Daniel Ingram – The Spectacle (Superplastic Remix) | Hardstyle
Aaaand we have another comeback! The name may not sound familiar, but the artist formerly known as Addictia has made a return with one of the best hardstyle tunes I’ve heard in a while, fandom or otherwise. Featured are some intriguing background vocal chops, creative percussion, lovely synths and great tension, and a cathartic hardstyle drop with a fine, fine kick! To top it all off, the drop’s melody is insanely catchy. A lot of ponies have been waiting for a great hardstyle remix of The Spectacle and I’m happy to say it has arrived!
Brilliant Venture- Celestial Summit VIP | Electro House
Brilliant Venture is finally back! His last release, Moved On, was featured on Cider Party and is a very personal and emotional song. However, he wasn’t inactive due to a lack of inspiration. Far from it, he was preparing ten (count ’em, ten) unreleased tracks for premiere at TrotCon (his set was wonderful, by the way!), and this is the first to go up online. Whereas Moved On dealt with his personal life struggles, Celestial Summit VIP is a pseudo-remix of Celestia’s Ballad from season 3’s finale, sampling it heavily through vocal chops and otherwise. It retains the emotion and the energetic wubs from Moved On, fans will be happy to discover. As usual, Brilliant Venture also draws heavily from the music and overall vibes of the old brony fandom. A treat for any fan of the original or Celestia junkie!
Quicksilver – Best Friends Until the End of Time (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Hard Rock
After returning to pony music, Quicksilver has been extremely active with both originals and some great covers, like this one! The vocals are the original ones, but Quicksilver’s guitar tones are as killer as ever and the percussion in the second verse is incredibly fresh. The video includes footage from this past BronyCon, very fitting of the original theme of the song! Take a listen if you’re into all-around solid show song covers.
