Enchanted with a very interesting story/concept, VooDoo’s newest tune has got an ethereal vibe backed up with slick melodies arranged through various beautiful synths, and that makes it a piece of choice to convey an exploration into the unknown. Nopony can stop time… and Times To Come does an awesome job at reflecting the many mysteries and paradoxes that wake from the study of journeying through time.

Daniel Ingram – Hope Shines Eternal (Protocat Remix) (iblank2apples Remix) | Drum & Bass
After DnB god Protocat graced us with his divine remix of Hope Shines Eternal, now another musical god from the community is hopping in and delivers his own spin on the remix? Oh boy, this is crazy. Becoming the playground of giants, the original song gets a breathtaking new life as iblank2apples remixes the remix with the insane musical talent he’s known for, and sublimates Protocat’s vocal chops with a new DnB arrangement. The guitar is the icing on the cake, and completes this extra polished gem full of happy and emotional vibes born from the union of the musicians’ visions.
Lunar Drift – Waiting for the Spark | Orchestral / Soundtrack
Lunar Drift’s Soundtrack vibes are always a delight for me, and it works so well in this new progressive track that is inspired from the fanfic A Silent House! Displaying pony-like and amazing melodic parts paying much tribute to Octavia and definitely reminiscing of some OST tracks, the masterpiece takes us on an emotional journey in two parts, as powerful progressive piano, electronic elements, and Octavia dialog lines are all re-enacting the story in blissful musical ways.
Silva Hound – Taco Tuesday (feat. Brittney Ackerman) | Big Room House
Another of Silva Hound’s releases leading up to his BronyCon performance, this Big Room House tune features the cute voice of Brittney Ackerman who did a marvelous job at voicing Sonata Dusk. A rave song of choice, this anthem to the famous line from Rainbow Rocks is sure to put the party on fire as we hail the siren’s antics!
[P@D] Mantlegen – Antagonist | Dubstep
Master of sick drops Mantlegen provided a refined Dubstep piece for the latest Ponies at Dawn album Guardians, and and it’s not getting an official YouTube upload! Partake in those villainous wubs as they strike multiple times, with the symbol of chaos being rightfully depicted in the video by Faulty! By the way, Mantlegen just released his new EP I Wanna Be, and the tracks Fly In and Clear Out are already on YouTube!
The Wonderbolts – You’re In My Head Like a Catchy Song (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Reggae Rock
Among the great news of the Wonderbolts performing at BronyCon (the gig should be happening around now), they also had another surprise for us, and it is a mighty sweet and tasteful Reggae Rock cover of the emotional You’re In My Head Like a Catchy Song! Galen’s gorgeous vocals are leading a blissful instrumental where many influences collide for a result full of passion and dedication from the multi-talented pony rock band. Wonderbolts groupies unite!
Tripon – Twilight’s Sweepy Surprise VIP | Drum & Bass
Tripon’s back at it with the first of new releases of VIPs, and this revamped version of Twilight’s Sweepy Surprise is definitely a delight to get! Pushing the community answer to Rainbow Dash’s call for remixes in The Saddle Row Review to an extreme level of talent and devotion, the sweeping madness has just been doubled with this VIP showcasing slick and dark sound design and an amazing contrast with epic choruses, that makes this quite the unique and incredible experience. Tripon forever!
Sonic Hooves – Summer Afternoon | Piano Solo
Sometimes the simplest themes are the most touching ones, and this theme of a lazy summer afternoon as well as this picture of Dashie napping her days away are reflected wonderfully here by Sonic Hooves’ composition that isn’t lacking emotion. Very moving piano melodies are chanting an ode to the pegasus we’ll never forget, full of heart and beauty, as we linger in the warmth of the moment.
Einarx – Alicorn Hunter | Dubstep
My personal favorite from Einarx’s recent releases, this track is sampling Tempest Shadow from the upcoming movie and sure is very ahead of its time. Showcasing insane sound design and crazy drops that feel like they’re coming from another world, the banger does a mighty job at conveying the “new”, never-seen-before mood from the character and what we could see in the trailer of the movie, and sets a solid ground for the overall theme of the upcoming EP “Invaders” that is about the movie’s events as envisioned by Einarx. The mad guitar is an unexpected treat, further reflecting the villainous intent of the theme and making this track the utter masterpiece that it is.
Einarx – Headless Horse | Dubstep
Years after Starlight’s Headless, here is Einarx’s take at the haunting and very deep theme from S03E06 Sleepless in Ponyville. As Scootaloo faces her fears in a scary nightmare, mad plucks are coming at you like the silhouette of the headless horse, with an intricate pace conveying so well the simmering fear of the moment in the nightmare. An expert use of samples from the episode is also contributing to make this track an amazing dark experience of sick sound design and powerful concept.
