A song that features many vocal talents, Why Did You Leave Your Friend was composed by Michael Picher to reflect a part of the fan story Animation Acres, written by Jackson Lennox. The vocal melodies are very nice, and the whole track would fit very well as an insert song if that story were to be turned into an animation movie!

[P@D] Xavi – Blitz Em | Future Dubstep
Xavi is hitting hard with this Future Dubstep banger straight out of Guardians and delivers inventive drops crafted while experimenting with new musical horizons and tools. While keeping Xavi’s fresh, tasty, moe signature sound in the second part especially with those curvy whomps, the track makes for a unique experience and a feast of sounds, as a groovy and hard-hitting progression unfolds. As an appreciated bonus, the tune also has a Flutterstory, that is explained in the description and further detailled in Xavi’s comment on the video!
Donn DeVore – Winsome Falls | Alternative Rock
One of my favorite releases of this month because of the pony feelings inside it, this new tune by Donn DeVore was inspired by his own feelings toward Rainbow Dash as he went camping with her in real life… Partaking in sweet and blissful moments with her among Nature, he wanted to convey those feelings in a song, to further express his love, and to share it with the world! This cute and amazing Alt Rock gem is the result, with lyrics filled with love and the happiness of shared moments with ponies, beautiful and passionate vocals, and a wonderful instrumental complementing it all with both acoustic and electric guitars and delightful Alt Rock drums. As a bonus, the title of the song is referencing the place introduced in S03E06 Sleepless in Ponyville, when they went camping!
[P@D] Reverbrony – Among the Brave | Heavy Symphonic Metal
Reverbrony hasn’t lost his touch, and delivers a massive progressive concentrate of Symphonic Metal epicness, extra heavy! Encompassing the theme of epic battles, Among the Brave does an amazing job at representing that side of the show, with violins, guitars, and drums all contributing to create this masterpiece of sound!
OBSCURA – Changing | Alternative Rock
A very promising pony musician, Obscura releases a much important and meaningful piece, since it took a lot of time and is also the first time that the musician has recorded his own instruments live! With a message reflecting Thorax’s story and the fate of changelings in general, the soft and genuine Alt Rock song brings beautiful vocals along a nice instrumental not lacking of awesome guitar solos!
ertrii – What Else Can You Say | Deep House
What Else Can You Say is Ertrii’s magnificent take at Deep House, a genre which I affectionate a lot for it distinct emotion and Night feeling, and for that it is quite similar to Trance (Deep House could even be considered the House version of Trance). Ertrii is embracing the Night mood and theme with this release, with such a splendid artwork fitting so well to the emotion that can be felt from listening to this musical bliss and gazing at the Night sky. Ertrii’s music always tends to be amazing and emotional, but this one’s got an extra layer of emotion, and I couldn’t be happier about it! Partake in soothing Night vibes and let yourself go…
Suskii & Glitchling – Happy Bug Noises (Light Assassin Remix) | Complextro
Light Assassin delivers a sick remix of Happy Bug Noises from Suskii and Glitchling, and it sounds like something that would play at some rave in the changeling kingdom! Imagining lots of changelings (“old” changelings or “new” changelings) dancing to this in some rad setting, is awesome! Bring the wubs and beats!
Radiarc – Carry On | Orchestral
A musical commission from Wing Dancer, this new release by Radiarc displays the musician’s talent at finely crafted Orchestral tunes of much depth and emotion. With soft yet impactful melodies, and a beautiful progression, it expresses emotions that have a personal meaning to the musician and that are reflected by the character of the story.
[P@D] Thrasher – The Overthrow | Metalcore
Thrasher is gracing us with a P@D submission once again, and his skill at Metalcore shines bright in this Guardians track, with sick guitar riffs being complemented by enthralling synth melodies, in a hard-hitting progression that delivers musical bliss like a firework. The background ambient synths are adding even more sublte emotion to the mix, and it is all resulting in quite a masterpiece!
Skelter – Revenge | Trap
Skelter brings some more Trap and in time for the hype of Chrysalis’ return and Revenge after the events of the S6 finale! Who knows when she would strike back in the show, it could totally take us by surprise! And this Trap beat does a great job at expressing the mischief and villainous intents of the changeling queen in a musical way!
