Bathed in a delightful Chinese musical influence, this track from St. Pinkie released under Crystal Empire Records features vocals from N. Hollow that you may know from critically acclaimed songs such as Bloodhound and New Wave. This one gives a very interesting musical spin to the classic MLP theme and backstory explained in the description, and it really results in a tribute that is as amazing as it is original.

Another remix of a track featuring Itchigotchi’s beautiful vocals, this time it’s Sonic Rainboom’s turn to show some Amity with this definitely much original and inspired remix. With an unusual spin we don’t see so often, it manages to create a refreshing instrumental and vibe conveying much love and making awesome use of the vocals.
Totalspark – What Once Was (feat. Itchigotchi) (Spectra Remix) | Melodic Dubstep
Melodic Dubstep has always been my weakness ever since the Omnipony days, and it has been quite rare since then, but our beloved Spectra had the amazing idea of sublimating What Once Was with the mighty power and emotion of the genre, and it sure achieved its targets! Heavenly synths, melodic drops of untold emotion, and beautiful breaks of divine purity, are all parts of what makes this remix special to me. An amazing job, and tribute to both the original track and the genre!
MetalPony – Do Better | Metalcore
MetalPony has been on the rise for quite some time now, and this new song is quite the masterpiece! With a deep and meaningful inspiration and theme, it expresses much in pure Metal spirit with a heavy instrumental blessed by amazing drums, bass and guitar performance. The vocals have got to be my favorite aspect of this track though, and both the heavy and the soft vocal parts are a bliss. Keep it up, MetalPony!
Elias Frost – Winter Wrap Up (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Folk Metal
Elias Frost treats us with a new cover of a show song, and this time it’s Winter Wrap Up from S1, forever a classic! The very energetic nature of the song is blending well with this Folk Metal cover full of spirit, and the guitar performance sounds both kind and strong, while the awesome Finnish vocals pay much tribute to the original. A Russian instrument called the zhaleika was also expertly used to bring more Folk vibes, and it is the icing on the cake!
[P@D] bank pain – Empire Past (UndreamedPanic Remix) | Bass House
Another of the amazing Empire Past remixes made out of Amity, this one from UndreamedPanic displays much inspiration and reaches out to something different, and that’s when some of the best magic happens! Full of inventive ideas, the piece is unleashing a unique groove and giving callbacks to the original track at the same time! A perfect and impressive remix!
Ryazan – Keep in Touch | Trance
Having made a stunning appearance in Amity with their remix of Einarx’s Blastershy, Ryazan also has composed the opening track from Horse Music Central Vol. 1 and it is now getting a YouTube release through A State of Sugar! Partake in emotional Trance bliss from the musician, with a track of divine beauty and breathtaking composition!
MC-Arch – No Shame | Hip-Hop
MC-Arch’s new song, as heartfelt as ever, takes inspiration on Pinkie Pie’s character depth, much to the delight of Pinkie fans like me. Through a beautiful instrumental, meaningful and deep lyrics, and vocals that are as amazing as they are genuine, the song impressively conveys the theme and its very relatable notions. A masterpiece, and definitely one of my favorites from MC-Arch who I know for a very long time. Give all your love to the passionate rapper, because he loves you too! Also for a more detailled review, feel free to check my comment on the song there on YouTube. I didn’t get nicknamed Comment Horse for nothing :3
Zephysonas – Twilight Adventures | Orchestral
Acting as the perfect Soundtrack embodiment of the artwork that was used as the concept and cover art, Zephysonas’ new piece is a much cheerful one, conveying well the mood of such a cute and silly scene that is much inspired from what is commonly seen in animes and mangas, even drawing style-wise. The piece still displays much beauty, and talent at crafting both fitting Soundtrack and Orchestral greatness.
Denz Xavier – Hero’s Flight | Progressive Rock
We don’t often get something that resembles the good ol’ Progressive Rock from the 70s/80s, and I would be tempted to label this Neo-Prog but there’s just some sweet, blissful Classic Rock vibe to it that can’t help making me feel nostalgic. This track has just the right sound, creative values, melodic structure, and progression, to make it an outstanding instrumental piece from the artist that is definitely a delight for Prog Rock fans like me. In Prog We Trust! (who’s going to this year’s festival?)
