MeetSouder – Scarlet’s Theme | Orchestral

Those familiar with J-RPGs (Japanese Role Playing Games) and their OSTs (Original SoundTracks) will certainly feel at home while listening to MeetSouder’s latest track from his series about Tales of Transylvania, an original story and fanfiction written by himself. Much reminiscing of Final Fantasy 9’s Dissipating Sorrow, this character theme for Scarlet still provides a unique twist and progression, served as always with an harmonic taste in composition and orchestration.

Metapony – Food We’ve Stored | House

Metapony returns in full force and just in time for spring with classic Winter Wrap Up samples in this new track aptly named Food We’ve Stored. Francis Vace teams up with lyricist and singer iRhymeTheSongs and releases Is Pinkie Pie Related, another ponification of 80s band Ramones under the very fitting alias Rapones. Expect some Punk Rock greatness with hints of Ska, as heard in Equestrian gig halls and live bars!

Sights Unseen – Where You Are | Future

Definitely staying in a signature “dreamy” atmosphere, here comes another track from Sights Unseen’s third album Stars Collide. This one is about a very interesting headcanon, involving Celestia as well as Discord, in a facet you might not be used to see.

Seventh Element & Mathie – (Resq) Down Under (feat. Cherax Destructor) | Chillout

“Rescuing” music by diving into a more psychedelic and experimental side, that is at least the outside of this new track born from Mathematicus “Mathie” and Cherax Destructor’s teamwork and harmonious ideas and concepts, along with Seventh Element. Starring Mathie’s enigmatic OC as well as Cherax’s, the song takes us to a quick but enthralling melodic amble into space, or perhaps a mindscape, filled with mysterious yet soothing moments.

SDreamExplorerS – Music to My Ears (Metal Cover)

Who said Vinyl couldn’t be listening to metal while walking in town? SDreamExplorerS made that necessary alternate concept real, with a complete and quite original cover of the classic Music to My Ears by Daniel Ingram, in turn inspired by KDrew’s Bullseye.

GROskAr – Dive | Dubstep

GROskAr takes a deep Dive into the genre of Dubstep and comes back with a track of much originality. The progression, the buildup of the second part, the reintroduction of moments of silence, all give this track a pretty distinctive feel. And to top it off, Rainbow Dash samples!

DJ RockinHoof – Dubstep Cheer | Dubstep

DJ RockinHoof brings us a track with an interesting concept here, that of teaching Fluttershy how to cheer… with wubs! One does not simply try to be a pony bass cannon… but thankfully Rainbow Dash is here to coach! The last part of the song especially makes for a great “concept track” moment, that is quite funny too!

fractilx – Wake The Dawn | Trance

In honor of BUCKcon and lovely Britannia featured in the cover art, Fractilx composed Wake The Dawn, a track as beautiful as its title. The introductory beats from the first part are soon giving way to a heavenly melodic and soothing part where the piano does wonders. Then expect some more uplifting mood along the progression, as if we could hear cheers of joy and excitement toward the convention!

Rockin’Brony – Equestrian Idiot (Green Day Parody) | Punk Rock

Rockin’Brony remade his ponification of Green Day’s American Idiot that he originally released back in December 2014. (Another remake of a ponification, in such a short time after Mason al’Cat released his, such a coincidence!) Some major improvements in this version, in which we can experience a cleaner sound and sweet guitar play, and Rockin’s very Green Day-ish vocals that definitely pay much tribute to that song… the pony way!
