This one is about Princess Erroria, or the background pony that became famous because of how she appeared as an alicorn in the show out of animation error! With much dedication, our hero made a full EP around her that you can get from Bandcamp, and many guest musicians contributed. You can catch the lyrics here! Elias went all-out with this tribute to Twilight anime-style, with both an emotional and epic song, AND a drawing and frame-by-frame animation! This experience definitely reflects so well the kind of deep scenes found in animes, and Elias did amazing with the gorgeous melodies and the intense atmospheric buildup all throughout the song!
Evershade – I Got Time | Funk / Dance
Get ready for an Applejackgasm! This track is making amazing use of samples of her voice from the show, chopping them relentlessly, and making for a sweet moment in company of the hard-working Earth Pony. An absolute gem of creativity and pony love!
StableTwoStallion – Tempest Shadow | Industrial Gothic Metal / Neue Deutsche Härte
StableTwoStallion is on a roll with this series of Neue Deutsche Härte-inspired ponifications, and this new installment is about the “Industrial” pony, Tempest Shadow! Maybe it’s her colors, I don’t know. And the musician went all-out again, not only crafting such a stunning song, but complementing it with hoof-made SFM artworks, appearing in the video!
Tw3Lv3 – Starlight’s Dream | Lo-fi
Tw3Lv3’s latest piece is of pure beauty, reminding of other beat-driven atmospheric chill pieces such as Hay Tea’s. What’s more, it’s sampling that certain scene with Luna appearing in Starlight’s Dream, and it’s so perfectly integrated into the mix, making for a new experience of the scene, empowered by the music! Among the awesome surprises of the month, Washout’s tribute to Starlight and Trixie is so cute that it’s making me melt. Those tender and passionate vocals are to die for, the lovely lyrics were written with love and you can feel it, and the electronic instrumental is quite impressive! This is what it means to start with a bang in the pony music scene!!
Djohn Mema & SlightlyAmiss – Not Ready For The End | Rock
Sharing nostalgia and brony feelings, Djohn Mema’s collab with SlightlyAmiss is very reflective of what makes us special as a community, and you can just feel all the genuine love that has been poured into this track and its message. It feels like a warm hug to all the musicians mentioned, and all those lovely thoughts get marvelously expressed here with the upbeat guitar melodies and the emotional vocals. A masterpiece of emotion and music!
Toby Macarony – Forever | Emotional Pony Vocal Chops
A masterpiece of emotion and creativity, this brony anthem and tribute to the many songs from the show by Toby sure is momentous and I appreciate it so much. It feels like a spiritual successor to Exiark’s The Essence of Being a Pony and Second Hoof Medley, and by listening to all those voices from the characters we love in this song, presented and chopped in such an amazing way, we get a reminder of all that we feel for them and the community, and that makes for such an incredible experience!
GeekBrony & Drummershy – Last Tempest (feat. Vylet Pony) (Suskii Remix) | Dubstep
We just got treated to a surprise banger of a remix of the memorable and acclaimed Last Tempest, by changeling musician Suskii who blows us away once again! With the inclusion of the original vocals, a buildup giving goosebumps, and mad drops blasting such insane wubs, the remix is a real delight, and does justice to Tempest!
strigidae – Louder, louder! | Indie Dance
New song by Strigidae, new incredible expression of pony love and depth! I highly recommend reading the description on YouTube, and all the thoughts that Strigidae had about Twilight! Singing about her anxiety with much resulting intensity, the talented musician definitely paid much tribute to our beloved purple princess, and all the creativity in both the instrumental and the vocals is really an amazing experience to behold!
