Frozen Night has remade one of their older songs to give it a fresh feel with better production and newer orchestral instruments. Lunar Eclipse II starts off with a hauntingly lonely solo piano, and layer upon layer of choir sounds, strings, and drums are brought in one by one to turn it from orchestral lament into a guitar-led piece.

Valiant Venture – Luna’s Realm | Ambient
Starting off with a calm piece this morning. Valiant Venture is, by most standards, a newcomer to the fandom music scene. While ambient music may not require overly-complex production, what’s key is the knowledge of how to progress throughout the song, something Valiant’s sure managed to do here.
Top Ten Pony Songs of August 2016 released!
The top ten is back again, this time with commentary! Take a look at the community voted favourites from August.
Ryazan – Lunamoon | Hard Trance
Woop woop, more music from the newly founded A State of Sugar label! This one is actually more of a throwback, since the song was originally released on the Ponies At Dawn album Celestial Planes back in 2015, but we thought it would be appropriate to post since this site doesn’t date back that far. So yeah, TRANCE TIME!
Vylet Pony – Great Unknown | Synthpop
This song is Vy’s own personal favourite from Super Pony World, and it’s not hard to see why. The drop is classic Porter Vylet-style synthpop, with his own vocals and crazy harmonies in the ‘verses’ and super uplifting melodies.

[SNMS] Totalspark – Dreamscapes | Chillout
It’s been a while (relatively speaking) since we had a solo piece from Totalspark here on the site, glad to have him back again! This song featured on the recent Beauty in the Trees compilation album, along with some equally beautiful tracks with very fitting soundscapes for the name.
Jyc Row – Fluttershy, the Dragon Master | Orchestral
Did someone say Skyrim? Not long since his last piece, and the bagpipes are back out again! Seemingly hit by sudden inspiration, Jyc Row made this piece in just a few hours, pretty impressive if you ask me.
Oh and while we’re at it, I couldn’t resist…

Daniel Ingram – It’s Gonna Work (Royalpony Remix) | Hands-Up / Hardstyle
Royalpony blends hands-up and hardstyle in this hard-hitting remix of It’s Gonna Work. I’m not normally a huge fan of either genre, but I’m absolutely loving this, guess I’m just picky with them!
Crystarium – Going Nowhere (R3CTIFIER Remix) | Future Bass
R3CTIFIER takes on Crystarium’s wonderfully melodic future bass track Going Nowhere here, keeping the future feel of the original, but adding some some heavier electro influences. Excellent work again from one of this fandom’s best up-and-coming producers.
ApostropheShy – Pentatonic | Electro
Another new song from pony music (relatively) new-comer ApostropheShy…or ‘Shy I guess, whichever they prefer. Whilst not actually written in a pentatonic scale, the name is still somewhat fitting for a song about the dj hors. The melodies are written in a relative minor pentatonic scale, Speckie is a music theory noob, still a fitting name for a song about dj hors.
