Horse Music Hotspot Podcast!
Great news: Our monthly radio on PonyvilleFM, the Horse Music Hotspot, is now available to download as a podcast! If you can’t listen in live on the last Sunday of each month at 10pm Eastern, or if you just want to listen again on-the-go, then this is the perfect solution for you.
If you use iTunes or the podcast app on any Apple device, simply search for “Horse Music Hotspot” in the Podcasts section of the iTunes store, or click this link to go there directly.
If you’re on Windows, Android, Linux, etc. and don’t use iTunes, then try searching for us in your preferred podcast app. If you can’t find us then add this RSS feed to your subscriptions and let us know which app you use so we can try to get the show into their directory.
NB: Due to limited free hosting, we can only keep each episode up for 2 months, but we’re looking into potential ways to upgrade in the future. However, all the past episodes are available on our YouTube channel.

Hey all! My name is Reverie, and you probably know me from the Top Ten Pony Songs countdown.
Lost Narrator—an active member of the pony community—was rushed to the hospital only a little while ago to have emergency surgery on an ovarian cyst that had gone unnoticed for a long, long time. The problem lies in the medical and recovery bills that will follow the procedure. If you don’t live in the United States, you have to know that the healthcare system here is certainly less than perfect, in many ways. Needless to say, she needs help to pay these bills.
Horse Friends (the record company that I manage) is releasing a special compilation album of never before seen tracks by some of the fandom’s top artists, including Lavender Harmony, GatoPaint, PON3, Vylet, and many, many more. This album will be priced fairly low (between $5 and $10 U.S.), and 100% of the proceeds will be going to Lost Narrator in order to make her expenses less expensive. This album will be coming out very, very soon, so be ready for that.
We here at Horse Friends hope you pick up the album (and donate a little extra if you can afford it!) so that Lost can get back on her feet and back to making great content for this wonderful community.

Although it’s a tad later than usual, but with reason mind you, the voting for the Top Ten Pony Songs of February has opened up. You know the drill – pick your 10 favourite songs from the month of February and enter them in the Google Docs Form, which you can find in the above video’s description.

Lycan Dese Beats Compilation Album Announcement!
In case you’ve never heard the show before, Lycan Dese Beats is a weekly radio show on Ponyville FM hosted (usually) by Lycan and FritzyBeat (although I’m currently taking Fritzy’s place for a while). Last year they released a compilation album to showcase some of the music made by the artists they tended to feature on the show (which you can download here), and today a new one was announced!
All the information regarding this can be found in this Google Doc, but the basics are: any genre is welcome, hard deadline is 16th June 2016, and most importantly, have fun making songs. GO MAKE AWESOME MUSIC!
