This is actually not Stringstorm’s first, nor second, but third cover of Not A Clever Pony’s song For The New Lunar Republic, each one having a good 2 years of experience gained between them! Check out this latest version with meticulously programmed drums and chanting choirs to add to what’s been done in previous versions.
Another track from the A Little Bit For Charity project. This cover features some rhodes and bells, and is topped off with Candice’s harmonies to turn this already poppy song into a cute indie pop track.
Something new from the A Little Bit For Charity project, where indie bands cover mlp songs for charity. This time it’s a cover of Our Town by a band called The Pieces. It’s got an…interesting vocal style, it’s something a little bit different, shall we say?
Here we have a short but sweet metal arrangement of Luna’s Future from idkQuicksilver with Aloma Steele’s vocals fitting alongside VERY nicely. I hope we get to see more 8-string guitar action from Quicksilver soon, it’s sounding fantastic!

Yet another take on one of the most covered songs in this fandom (welp, I can’t really talk here). This time it’s an alternative rock version from Black Electric (who deserves some more subscribers if you ask me) with Prince Whateverer filling in to perform the vocals. Nice and upbeat, and catchy like the original, go take a listen!
Elias Frost is an up-and-coming Swedish metal artist (who certainly looks the part too!) who’s been making MLP-themed music for almost a year, but picked up the pace with pony music in the past few months. This cover starts off with just a classical guitar, some lead guitar and vocals from Elias himself. The drums and other guitars join in halfway through, and even add new composition elements that weren’t in the original. In short, it’s pretty damn epic, go check it out!
Mason al’Cat keeps bringing us more and more parody / ponified songs, this time with his take on Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence. But rather than warn of the evils of advertising, it recounts the events of the season 4 premiere.
A more relaxing piece to take you into the late afternoon: Amalun3us’ project The Canterlot Symphony Orchestra brings us a collection of songs from the show performed together in one single piece. It’s a nice relaxing piece, just what I needed. Thanks Amalun3us.
