Continuing his rollout of Trotcon exclusive tunes, Brilliant Venture breaks out a VIP of his ode to the fandom from Ponies at Dawn’s Awakening. This one is grittier and harder-hitting than the original, featuring some very recognizable samples, including the NRG PonyDub and a new section featuring the cathartic The Magic Inside, and interpolations (I think I may have heard a Trixie the Pony Troll one in the drop!). The gritty basses and upgraded sound design should certainly please any fan of Brill’s!

Vylet is back with another amazing piece. This one is about our favorite muffin loving pony, and the day-to-day struggles of being different. It explores some interesting aspects of sentimentality and isolation. But it’s not all sad, Vylet turns it around and there is a much more hopeful tone towards the second half. And as always, Vylet’s sweet, smooth vocals tie the entire song together. Well done Vylet, I can’t wait to see what you do next.
UndreamedPanic – Chocolate Pudding | Bass House
Is this to be appreciated as a meme? Or as a legit song? Well, why not both? UndreamedPanic has it right with this wonky Bass House about that Twilight face from the Christmas special that went viral shortly after it aired, and Derpibooru browsers know it well. Funky and funny, it certainly has that meme flavor!
Daniel Ingram – A Kirin Tale (Vylet Pony Remix) | Dubstep
Now here’s a unique take on the now-famous A Kirin Tale, and I don’t mean just musically! Its concept is around a vengeance-thirsty Autumn Blaze (depicted here by art by Yona), and that concept is reflected awesomely through sick wubs and wicked drops, perhaps representing Autumn’s wrath, going for the kill! Vylet does wonders and lets his talent at hard-hitting music shines once more, while A Kirin Tale gets an unexpected new version that definitely isn’t afraid of going hard!

One of the many sugary treats from A State of Sugar Bubblegum, this one sure is special as it’s a super lovely mega collab! It features the different influences and styles of Violin Melody, Jalmaan, Greyfade, Heartsong, Cynifree, IPon3, Periwinkle, and Nevermourn, and everything blends together so well over an awesome progression! It results in such an epic track indeed, giving much emotion, not just from the amazing music in itself but also from the thought of all those awesome pony musicians working together to create this… A token of the power of Friendship and teamwork for sure!
Evgeniy Doctor – Eternal Nightmare | Psytrance
Trance prodigy Evgeniy Doctor continues to develop his style rapidly and this new menacing psytrance tune from him is, in my opinion, a crowning achievement. With careful attention to detail in the atmosphere, using techniques like transforming lighthearted samples from the show into something truly dark, amazing fills, unique rhythms, and some haunting but subtle vocal chops, this banger is truly something special!
Age of Vinyl & Hay Tea – Calm of the Sky | Drum & Bass
An unexpected gem brimming with holy light just made its descent from the heavens, blessing us with its power… That’s certainly what this new incredible collab from community DnB gods Age of Vinyl and Hay Tea sounds like! With a soothing concept brought forward in many different ways throughout the progression of the track, the collab shines with a divine atmosphere, gorgeous melodies and blissful sound design. The deep bass all throughout is adding even more emotion to an already stunning track, and the whole experience feels like a leap into that world of peace, high up in the sky… For that is one of the powers of music and art!

New pony musician ahoy! Let’s welcome Mysty to the scene, with a lovely first track themed around Rainbow Dash and her Element. Beautiful and soft melodies bring that emotion as an energetic beat brings Dashie her coolness, and overall this Chillstep experience does wonders at reflecting both Dashie’s soft side and tender feelings toward her friends, and her proud personality!

To see Synthis taking part in Ponies at Dawn albums is so wonderful as he’s known for very emotional pieces and unique vocals that are always so emotional too! For Enigma he gathered the vocal talents of J. Free and TheWanderingKit to perform with him, and it results in a very cool Chill Hop piece that’s to die for, with Synthis’ signature dreamy melodies and deep bass making for much emotion once more and carrying all vocals in such an epic way.
