BlueBrony – Happy Horse Days (to us all)[covering Luck Rock] | Folk

If you see BlueBrony perform at a con, you might end up with a “I cried at BlueBrony’s set” ribbon and for a good reason – his tracks have a way of melting your heart. Here, he’s taken Luck Rock’s sentimental masterpiece and exemplified it. The song starts with Blu’s signature piano and voice, already tugging on your heartstrings before blissfully evolving into three part, a capella, drop dead gorgeous harmonies. It then winds to a upbeat conclusion with whistling and guitar, serving as an homage to the original acoustic track. The song is a rare delight, stirring up so many emotions of joy, and sadness, and nostalgia, and beauty, all within a short span of three minutes. Outstanding job!

Thrack – Never Give Up (Feat. CantoAcrylic & Tall Pine) | Folk

Thrack has teamed up with Canto and Tall Pine to make a warm and hopeful track set in the Fallout Equestria universe. It opens with Pine going ham on a sick mandolin riff before Canto and Thrack take turns singing inspiring lyrics about never “give[ing] up the fight” even if it costs them everything. Towards the end, their voices join together briefly to modulate to a different key, and it’s absolutely heavenly. The instrumentation is also incredibly lush with guitar, banjo, mandolin, and even some glockenspiel. All together, this song’s sure to help you smile even through the darkest of times.

Thrack – Winter Wishday (Feat. 4EverfreeBrony, Ocean Breeze, Jesh PK & Friends) | Folk

Thrack, 4EverfreeBrony, and Ocean Breeze have formed a trio (accompanied by Jesh PK) to sing this lovely carol about the holiday spirit, backed by piano, guitar, and chimes. The three take turns singing about fun holiday traditions like decorating and playing in the snow, in addition to hope, joy, and all the warm fuzzies. The best part is when their voices come all together in harmony during the chorus – tt’s absolutely delightful and sure to warm you up! Also can someone give me pointers on how to make 10 foot tall snow ponies? Y’all have some serious skills.
