Wind Wolf – The Mountain Path | Orchestral / Soundtrack
A track that oozes with classic JRPG flavor! Appropriate, as this one was made for the pony rpg game “Adventure of the Lunarbolts”. With a steady beat, a smooth sub bass, some lovely key arpeggios, and of course, that addicting Oboe melody, lots to love in this one! Windwolf has a knack for that RPG ost sound and I can listen to this on repeat. Check it out!
Light Assassin – Undead | Complextro
An impressive piece of sound design and Complextro madness, this new track from Light Assassin sure has got sick “growls”, and the take on the genre is really awesome. One of the artist’s best and most massive works!
Ponytronic – Fears | Chillout
Ponytronic gives us another piece filled with some very mellow sounds, and tasteful sound design choices. One thing I like about his mixes is how understated and savory they are. It doesn’t try too hard to get your attention but has a lot to offer, and this one is no exception. Melancholy, and rich with emotional flavor, this one is highly recommended!
NeoN & Dj Shadow – Eternal Spring | Progressive House
In honor of this year’s budding spring, NeoN has teamed up with Dj Shadow to produce a delightful collab offering many positive vibes in Progressive House format, reflecting Luna’s experience as she takes a stroll among the green wonders of Nature. Definitely a very successful collaboration!
BlueBrony – Lunar Phases | Deep House/Orchestral
BlueBrony is always one to bring interesting combination of sounds, and here it’s no different with a piece that transitions between a few different styles. Initially a deep house-y vibe emanates through the piece, before a build up to some more prog-style saw sounds that have some nice energy to them. Following this is a soft and mystical orchestral section before the house-y goodness returns.
Jyc Row – Tempora’s Requiem (feat. Decibelle) | Orchestral
Something pretty awesome here! Jyc Row has been working with Lumic4 to produce some music that ties into their Timey-Wimey comic. The music accompanies the artwork seen above, which also constitutes pages 78 and 79 of the comic. Singer Decibelle has hopped aboard as well to add some excellent vocals to what is a powerful and fitting epic orchestral instrumental.
Frozen Night – The Moonlit Meadow | Orchestral
Orchestral music! Frozen Night delivers a continuation of his epic ethnic orchestral suite with the third movement, The Moonlit Meadow. Immediately it hooks you in with lovely melodies and strings, quickly building up in majesty and size. It gets pretty epic later on, with horns and percussion aplenty.
CainbowRrash – Discovering Generosity | Orchestral
This piece from CainbowRrash is some music for video game project My Little Sweetheart, and takes a much more reserved approach, as befitting the kind of music you might find in a gentle section of a game. There’s lots of lovely melodies and slight French influences here.
Metajoker – Waking Up | Pop Ballad
It’s been a while, but Metajoker returns with a new piano ballad-style piece reminiscent of his much enjoyed Universes that was released some time ago. The piano is lovely here, flowing beautifully through the piece, and Metajoker’s vocals fit this style of music especially well in my mind. Definitely a pretty awesome and lovely piece, check it out for some Doctor Whooves and Derpy music!
