Ponyphonic teams up with professional singer Kristen Calvin to bring us a remake of their original 2012 hit, well known as the sister-song in to Lullaby for a Princess in that storyline. Complete with full female vocals and revamped musical score, this song feels so much more powerful now than the original did. I guess that’s what 4 years of experience does to any musician! Go listen for epic Luna!

Lunar Dance – Sunny Days | Progressive House
Some more uplifting progressive house music for you, courtesy of Lunar Dance. This song is inspired in part by a recent trip, and I can imagine this as a good driving song on an open road. Bright, happy melodies and 4-chord progressions are aplenty in this, go check it out!
fractilx – tsundember | Garage
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJ3j-t1B9Yc
To our delight, Princess Ember is what we would call in anime slang, a tsundere. Such personalities can be quite cute indeed, to the point that enlightened musicians as Fractilx paid tribute to that side of Ember with a song. The tsundere spirit put into music, I present you tsundember! If you’re into anime or moe things, you know this track will get 20% cooler for you. Also, to the risk of giving an obscure reference, whoever is drawing an anthro of her with twin tails and a zettai ryouiki will be sure to achieve the S-rank…
Vylet Pony & Friends – Static | Synthwave
Following further inspiration from the 80s era, but this time in electronic music, Vylet Pony brings us an excellent Synthwave song literally made overnight. As always delivered with talent, it has that sweet retro vibe that I know I’m not the only one to appreciate, and divine vocals too! Thanks also to the friends who contributed to this lovely track.
Cosmic Kingdoms – To The End | Indie/Electronic
Cosmic Kingdoms are on a roll, with already a new track, and this one is as explosive as a sunburst would suggest! Yes, it is really on fire! Puns aside, it is really a banger and token of much skill and work. The vocals, the effects, the chops, the synths, the melodies, the beats… everything is pretty much perfect.
Acouste Wholenote – Used To | Punk Rock
Acouste Wholenote serves us with a delightful Punk song played in the earnest rock spirit, in tribute to our beloved Princess of the Night. Partake in the appreciation of both the Night and this track, immersing yourself into a nighttime gig perhaps, while The Moon’s Reaching Out Stars!
fractilx – DRAGON POWER | Orchestral
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm1o9tfGQvI
For an episode as epic as Gauntlet of Fire, going a different route and trying out Orchestral was definitely a worthy challenge reflecting all the ordeals displayed during the episode. The result doesn’t lack the might that we could expect from such a piece, and an enjoyable RPG soundtrack vibe can be felt, too!
Kadenza – Dreamwalker (ertrii Remix) | Progressive House
I remember Dreamwalker was one of the first songs we ever posted on this site. Now ertrii has taken his own spin on it in his wonderfully chill house style. This remix keeps a solid beat but is also very relaxing to listen to, great work ertrii!
Sayonara Maxwell & MiatriSs – To The Moon | Electro
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJuRZWOGW78
The first pony song from Sayonara Maxwell we’ve seen in a while – last one was back in December – and it’s one for Nightmare Moon. It’s great that even over 5 years after the season 1 premiere, we’re still making fan content about her; just goes to show when a character really sticks with an audience.
Daniel Ingram – Out On My Own (174UDSI Remix) | House
The remixes of the song from last week’s episode are still flowing in, and today we’ve got 174UDSI’s take on it. It’s also 174UDSI’s birthday today, so go show him some love! Happy birthday from all of us at the Horse Music Herald!
