We don’t often get a quality French Cover of a brony song that’s for sure, so this right here is an awesome surprise! Damien, who was once known as the very promising pony musician Selenys, is back and teamed up with Tina to bring us an amazing French Cover of My Cadence from Matthew Mosier and originally having Megaphoric and ismBoF providing the duet. This new duet not only shines with beautiful vocal work from both singers, but it also features brand new lyrics to fit with the love song in French, and not just a literal translation of the original lyrics! It’s definitely adding a much enjoyable creative aspect to the cover for me. Here’s hoping for more releases from them!

[SoK] GhostXb – Little Things | Orchestral
Originally composed as a sweet OST track for Ambient, this tune now part of the charity album Seeds of Kindness 6 ~ A Change of Heart displays once again how amazing GhostXb is at Orchestral OST-like tracks with much emotion to them. An incredible progression graced by gorgeous piano, strings, and even heavenly vocals, creates a musical experience of many wonders for the soul to remember.
Top Ten Pony Songs of February 2017 released!
In a change of events, the Top Ten was released on time, and we are late to post it! Check out the community choices for last month’s music, including some ones we perhaps weren’t quite expecting…
Time Baby – Blossom (Winterlight Remix) | Chillout / Ambient
Time Baby has been delighting us for years with his awesome take at several Alt Rock subgenres including Shoegaze (I highly recommend checking out the rest of his channel), and it’s time for a much welcomed comeback, with the artist’s remix of his own track Blossom originally released in 2013. Taking a surprising new Chillout/Ambient direction, the remix certainly doesn’t disappoint and provides for yet another blissful experience of sound. Here’s to hopefully more new releases from Time Baby!
Ponysphere & Secret Metal – Fine Lady | Metal
Finally a rightfully inspired song about Rarity’s antics in S05E15 Rarity Investigates! And we can definitely count on Ponysphere and Secret Metal to deliver all the Metal greatness in full force. Blissful lead guitar solos, solid rythm guitar riffs and drums, tasty bass, and amazing vocals all around from both musicians, all give to this track much power in pure Metal style. A much welcomed addition, much love to Ponysphere and Secret Metal! Also kudos to the MLP staff for what they’ve done. May that fateful scene continue to inspire!
Elias Frost – Party at Puddinghead’s | Orchestral Folk
Elias Frost did it again!! In continuation of the story and concept of the upcoming EP, Party at Puddinghead’s musically tells a tale explained in the description, with a delightful and masterful instrumental truly depicting the scenes so well. With a very enjoyable Folk direction, the melodies and musical style transport us into a medieval setting full of life, and I can’t help but feel much Passion for it as I want to fully immerse myself to the scene through the music. Let’s party some more my companions! Long live Princess Platinum!
Nevermourn – Illusions | Drum & Bass
Nevermourn kicks off his channel in a great and powerful way with a sparkling character theme for Trixie in Drum & Bass format. Reflecting the coolness in both Trixie’s mischievous side and her skills as an Illusionist, the track hits hard and relentlessly with sick melodies and beats, and lays down a very enjoyable dark mood.
Wubcake, Royalpony & The Cosine Pitchshifterz – Midnight Sparkle 10.0 | Hardstyle

The Cosine Pitchshifterz and Royalpony are the two main hardstyle producers in the fandom, so it’s cool to see them teaming up with Wubcake for a pretty epic track! Wubcake provides some strong voice acting for the piece (minor language warning there), and the track builds up with some epic choral stabs before it falls into some signature kick-driven rawstyle. Check it out if you’re up for some aggressive stuff!

Aurelleah & Kadenza ft. PegasYs – Firelight (AJ Young Remix) | Future Bass

Firelight was a pretty awesome collaboration between Aurelleah and Kadenza, so it’s cool to see AJ Young giving it a remix. PegasYs‘ voice works just as well here as it did in the original, with a sort of trap-style build up going into synth-led drop that nonetheless has some appreciable bass presence. Whilst it doesn’t diverge a whole lot from the original in overall atmosphere, the slightly different pacing and future bass feel to it is pretty cool.
Luck Rock – Luna’s Dream | Soft Rock
