4EverfreeBrony – Honesty (2018) | Pop Rock
Part of the Emerald Eyes album, this new rendition of 4EverfreeBrony’s tribute to Applejack Honesty shows much love for the orange Earth pony once again with such lovely lyrics and vocals, and a quality rocking instrumental that features an epic guitar solo of love!
Vylet Pony – Whisper of Her Soul | Synthpop / Breaks
Now this is special. The energy and emotions Vylet conveys is absolutely stunning and the syncopated rhythm and retro-esque feel really brings some life to this story. It opens on a very soothing note and boy, does it ever grow on you in an unexpected way! This song in particular is actually one that was commissioned by Draco Schaeffer, and tells a story of Brash and Golden’s relationship “in an age and universe where Equestria’s sewers are just as colourful as the streets” which personally I think is a very interesting concept for a story and its world. I’m really impressed in how this commission turned out and am very curious to see what else is brought to the table!
[P@D] EVRLST – Unaware (feat. PegasYs) | Future Bass
This killer track from Ponies at Dawn Recollections features PegasYs‘ godly vocal talents and a top-notch instrumental work from EVRLST! PegasYs actually made the lyrics to be about Bon Bon when he wrote them, and it’s definitely so lovely to have imbued those thoughts in the track that way! An electronic masterpiece with stunning vocal work and even guitars, it’s shining bright on the charity compilation album!
DoTheDaringDew & Brittney Ackerman – Harmony | Soft Rock
The time of new smiles and celebrations in pony spirit is drawing near, with HarmonyCon happening on February 8th – 10th, and the lovely con mascots duo of DoTheDaringDew and Brittney Ackerman are doing wonders to raise the hype to cute/100 levels, with this happy and very pony-like Soft Rock song starring the two musicians and ponies as singers, and a video made by Hyper Dash! Check out HarmonyCon and their amazing lineup of pony musicians!
[P@D] Einarx – Guardian (Reprise) | Eastern Folk
From the Ponies at Dawn charity album, Recollections, Einarx has given us a reprise of Guardian. Unlike their VIP of the song back in 2017, this takes everything from before and flips it on its head! All in all we’ve been given a very soothing turn from the hard hitters of yesteryear, with a heavily ethnic feel mixed with subtle electronic elements and a foreboding atmosphere that will instantly take you on an ethereal journey from the Far-East!
Remember Falling – Going Down (pt. 2) | Alternative / Trap
It’s like Remember Falling heard all of our subconscious calls for a continuation to the original Going Down that was so epic!! Equally epic and badapple, this part 2 about the MLP villains is kicking flank so much once again with incredible lyrics fitting to the villains’ personalities and stories, very cool vocals, and an enthralling electronic instrumental of much emotion!
[ASOS] TCB – Powerful and Great (Crafty V4) | Electronic
A crafty revival of an old project, Powerful and Great is a new solo track from our beloved TCB that we’re so glad is gracing A State of Sugar Ice Cream with its presence! And the same could be said of Trixie, who makes a cute appearance in both this video and the music, with her irresistible voice complementing a trippy and melodic instrumental signed TCB!
Radiarc – What Was | Alternative / Jazz

Voltex Pixel – We are the One (feat. Princess Twilight Sparkle) | Melodic Dubstep
Now this is a breath of fresh air. Voltex Pixel brings the feel of something old but something new with “We are the One” gives us a taste of intricate melodic vocals from Twilight Sparkle chopped up and creatively spliced throughout the song as well as as some really nice piano melodies and saw chords that remind me of the days back in 2011 where EDM as a whole had that “signature” sound which still holds a special place in my heart. I see some great things coming from this artist in the future 🙂
