Frozen Night – Dragon of Time (Piano Version) | Piano Sonata

Sometimes I forget that amazing music comes in all shapes and sizes, but Frozen Night’s piano version of “Dragon of Time” proves just how much can be accomplished with a single instrument. The composition begins slow, with its regretful and lonely melody reverberating before picking up speed, weaving together gorgeous arpeggios over the thunderous strike of the lower notes, only to return to its former melancholy at the end. The dynamic contrast between sections is incredible, and the piece will keep you on the edge of your seat to the very end!

EveryDayDashie – PonyGPT | DnB / Drumstep

EveryDayDashie’s new track imagines a world where Equestria is not peace, but in a state of conflict due to the rise of AI. It takes off from the start with a very fast bass line forming a dark groove before going all in with a hardcore section full of jarring synths and scratches! Between the conflicting passages, the piece opens up with smooth choral-like passages before another synth picks ups the pace and drags the listener back into the fray. If you’re looking for a sinister and fiery sound, make sure to check this one out!

Anamore – Invisible (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Electronic Rock

A few weeks ago, Anamore dropped this fantastic cover of a lesser known song from the EQG universe, “Invisible,” and she’s turned it into a rousing anthem! It’s a fusion of many styles and genres with its electric guitar and bass, lively rock drums, bouncy synths, subtle strings, and even some scratching thrown in on the low end and glitchy sounds in the beginning. Her vocals are simultaneously soft and crisp, and her performance is spot on! The song’s subject is one I think many of us have related to at one point or another, so thanks for putting in all the effort to make such a lovely cover ❤

Algo at All – let’s fly | Electronic

Algo at All’s first release this year is one of the most adorable tracks I’ve heard in a while! This Minuette themed track samples her voice heavily from “Amending Episodes” of Season 5, with some Pinkie and Fluttershy clips used as percussive sounds. The overall sound is so fluffy, light, and playful with a lot of bouncy synths, synthetic bells, and smooth basses. The middle section changes the equalization of the mix to create an even more relaxed feel before coming back in full force. The track ends with jazzy piano chords and the sound of some of our favorite pony friends laughing in the background. It’s an absolute delight, so make sure to check this out!

Eurobeat Brony – Discord (StarBomberX remix) | Reggae / EDM

StarBomberX, a brand new musician to the fandom, is starting out by remixing the classics. Their remix of Discord by Eurobeat Brony fuses Reggae and EDM genres, and the result is stunning! The synths are dark and piercing, creating a very sinister vibe matching Discord’s character perfectly, and the shrill pads which come in later are haunting! The vocals uses are the same as from the Living Tombstone remix, but pitched down, also contributing to the dark and moody atmosphere. Can’t wait to hear what you make next!

L-Train – Everypony | Electro Swing

L-Train has dropped a new album, and its title track, “Everypony,” is a lovely fusion of Latin with the L-Train’s usual electro swing. The track begins softly, and as the Rarity vocal chop crescendos, the percussion builds to a thunderous roar! The main theme is a groovy blend of many instruments which drop out in the middle to allow the full Rarity sample from “Becoming Popular” to play. Towards the end, you’ll hear some of L-Train’s amazing finger picking skills with a solo. I’m sure “Everypony” will enjoy listening to it.

Blurain – The Vow (Of Silence) | Alt. Rock

Blurain’s latest hit is about our favorite Kirin episode from G4. The intro makes good use of contrast, alternating between different guitar sounds before letting rip in the main chorus. The track is particularly intense in the middle with Blurain dropping to a whisper only to follow with a rousing scream! The rest of his vocal performance is equally impressive and his voice has a lovely twang to it which gives the song so much character. Keep your ears open for the lyrics too! There’s tons of great pairings such as “let their words find their release” and “make you keep your peace” which perfectly and poetically describe the Kirin’s tale. Fantastic job! I can’t wait to hear what you make next.

[VibePoniez] PSFMer – I’ve Kind of Grown to Like You | Deep Dubstep

For the newest VibePoniez album, PSFMer branched out to try a new genre: deep dubstep! This Misty-inspired track is very minimalist and ASMR-like with its crisp percussion and effects being a large focus of the piece. The ethereal synths will you leave you longing in the same way Misty longs for a cutie mark, and the sub-bass will have you grooving along to the beat. It even features some of Misty’s voice lines fading in and out, a nice final touch to a relaxing piece!

[VibePoniez] limbosystem – Still | Acoustic

limbosystem’s “Still” is a wonderful and warm acoustic track off of the latest VibePoniez album! It features a flute and guitar duet for most of the song, along with some organ and just the slightest touch of jingle bells to really put you in the holiday spirit. Towards the end, several voices join together in an angelic oooh that will really send shivers up your spine! It’s the perfect thing to listen to on a cold winter day, so to all you northern hemisphere bronies, make sure to catch this one before Winter Wrap Up hits!

SCR4TCHK4T – kittygirl!~ | Future Bass

SCR4TCHK4T’s latest release is a cute and bouncy future bass track! Laced with vocal chops throughout, the track blends together a variety of different electronic sounds. The intro is smooth and mellow with a lovely splash of ePiano, before adding some bright synths and the classic D&B beat implemented with minimalist sounds that slide very nicely into the mix! The main drop is preceded by a really cool build up with the synths ascending in a way that makes it sound de-tuned, building up a lot of tension before delivering us. Afterwards, there’s some energetic chip tune stabs and drum features. Nicely done!
