Start of JustAnotherPonyGuy’s writeup
Nevermourn tries out a most peculiar and intriguing blend of genres in Azure, his submission to HMC volume 4! I really adore the Fluttershy vocals, from So Many Wonders. Nevermourn puts some wonderful pitch-shifting on them in a very novel composition.

[HMC] Viricide Filly – Eleanor’s Ocean | Indie Dance / House

Viricide’s music is not only quite unique and experimenting in unseen directions, it is also imbued with deep meanings as the amazing album Back From Reality has shown, and this song from the newest Horse Music Central compilation album continues the story of Eleanor (Viricide Filly’s meaningful OC) while pertaining to the theme and cover art of the album in some way, which is quite delectable. Showcasing that now almost signature take on vocals, the track also explores new sounds over a House body that is definitely unlike any other.

Totalspark’s tune off the recent Horse Music Central Volume 4 compilation album is a cinematic-oriented track progressing into EDM elements and that makes it quite the unique hybrid track. CainbowRrash – Farewell Moments | Orchestral

It’s always so awesome to get new compositions by CainbowRrash, and this one, inspired by Fallout Equestria, conveys so well the tragic and “desert” mood of the theme with an inspired progression conducted beautifully and melodies and instruments enacting the story so well. The track ends with solemn yet powerful trumpet play by CainbowRrash that is the icing on the cake and that empowers the song with even more emotion.

Crystal Slave – Falter (Flittzy Remix/Cover) | Alternative Pop

Heartfelt music is the best, and here our beloved Flittzy delivers a meaningful cover/remix of a meaningful song to him, and that definitely adds another layer of appreciation to the reborn Falter. Taking on one of the most unique singers that the community has seen, Crystal Slave aka ReuelBrony (who has unfortunately deleted his whole channel), is no easy feat, yet the power of emotion and the strong feelings that Flittzy nurtured for the original certainly played a part in resulting in wonderful new vocals from the composer and singer who also gave a new arrangement to the song that, like many of Crystal Slave’s original works, has very deep lyrics and relatable messages for those who shared the same kind of experiences.
