The creative power of music is amazing, and here is ShalMusicFX showing us an awesome cover of the classic Under Our Spell from Rainbow Rocks, performed live on a LaunchPad Pro! The solo in the second half is very emotional, especially for someone whose favorite instrument is the keyboards! Let’s give a round of applause to ShalMusicFX for this wonderful performance!

PonyBand – Ballad of Princess Platinum | Folk
These awesome folks not only created a whole animation to tell an original story, they’ve also got an original song to go along with it, made by PonyBand! The Folk-ish drums are complementing very well the medieval-style vocals of much beauty and elegance. Truly an impressive piece of much depth!
Rusty – Around | Indie Pop
You can always count on Rusty to come up with songs that just make you smile upon hearing them! A unique and lovely signature vocal style, a beautiful instrumental, and a personal meaning and message, all make this new release quite a nice breeze of fresh air!
Lectro Dub – Turn Into You (demo) | Hard Rock
From the Unfinished Business album full of other demo tracks, Turn Into You is a delightful Hard Rock gem like we’re not used to see in this community, about the Changelings and working awesomely as an anthem of sorts. Both the riffs and the lead guitar solo are top-grade headbanging material and it is truly wonderful to get tracks like these in the community too. Hard Rock is not dead!!
Skelter – Tree of Harmony | Trap
Skelter did it again! With a somewhat haunting atmosphere, this Trap beat fits well the dark and almost eerie mood from the cover art, and the melodies are doing a great job at conveying both the mighty power from the Tree of Harmony and the tragic consequences there could be from mishandling it.
Flyghtning – A trip to Cloudsdale | Trance
A much sympathic Trance track from Flyghtning, A trip to Cloudsdale embodies well the cover art and instills a tech-y mood with slick synths and sci-fi melodies. And it even features voice samples from Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo!
Daniel Ingram – The Pony I Want to Be (Brilliant Venture’s 25th Bash Mix) (Bootleg) | Dubstep
Banger incoming!! This amazing remix of The Pony I Want To Be from Brilliant Venture has an interesting backstory and has resulted in a hard-hitting, badapple, utterly sick track reflecting well the sassy “dark” side we could see in Diamond Tiara, with a stunning flow and very cool melodies complemented by an awesome sound design, and overall the Dubstep remix works so well for the concept it went for. And the cover art by Art-2u is just the icing on the cake!! Masterful and addictive remix from Brilliant Venture on the day of his birthday, who would have thought that WE would be the ones getting such an amazing gift? I can’t get enough of it. Also this is my 500th post on Horse Music Herald, and I must say I’m honored to have been able to help this far! If there are people actually reading my writeups, I want to say a big Thank You! Let’s keep supporting pony music, for it is a shining token of the power of Passion!
Daniel Ingram – Battle (Shadowcat Remix) | Drum & Bass
I think it is fairly accurate to say that the Dazzlings have mesmerized the community in more ways than one, and the amazing songs and vocals from Rainbow Rocks are sure calling for amazing remixes. Shadowcat understood that well and serves us with a delightful DnB remix released through Drumscape Library, and it is with top-notch drums and tasty bass that the Dazzlings’ vocals get sublimated once more!
Blitz & Fluffalo – Dog Diamonds (Covering Rhyme Flow) | Hip-Hop
We can always count on this community’s MCs to come up with the coolest tracks, and this new take on the original concept from Rhyme Flow sure has got the badapple lyrics, rad vocals from both Blitz and Fluffalo, and a sick flow. I like to think that this is coming straight from the Diamond Dogs in Equestria, as if they formed a Hip-Hop band, and the immersion feels so good!
Radiarc – Lonely Breeze | Orchestral
As a total change of pace from the dark atmospheric or the epic orchestral music Radiarc is known for, this relaxing, charming, I’d even say “romantic” track is making us feel right inside a beautiful and serene garden in heaven filled with all kinds of flowers… and with Breezies, too! The track is in fact a challenge from OrchestralDesign and I can say that Radiarc has overreached it!
