Crystal Slave’s been trying out some new styles lately, and it’s come out really nice in their new song. A little bit harder than their normal stuff, this still has amazing atmosphere in between the drop sections with amazing foley and some nice piano. Speaking of drops, the sinister synthlines in these are just amazing. Well done Crystal Slave, keep experimenting!

Soren Ember – Through Your Heart | Acoustic
What’s it like to love the immortal? Well, Soren Ember tells us what it’s like in his new song. Although we may pass, our love lives on. I love the cajon in this song, it’s not an instrument you hear often in horse music, so it’s refreshing to have in this song. The guitar playing is very calming, and Soren’s voice just makes me want to sing along. Well done Soren, this is a beautiful song.
Inkwel – Tank | Chill
Inkwel continues writing songs for the Mane 6’s pets with this one about Tank. A chill atmosphere really aligns with Tank’s personality, while the strong bassline shows how much of a strong support he is for Rainbow Dash. This song is really fitting for it’s subject, keeping in line with the show. The cute synthlines complete the song and make it a very enjoyable experience.
Luck Rock – Orchard in the Sky | Soft Rock
Inspired by The Perfect Pear, Luck Rock sings an amazing ballad about Big Mac and Sugar Belle. With some outstanding acoustic guitar and strings backing up his amazing singing, one can really feel the love being shown in Luck Rock’s song. I especially love the choruses, the lyrics are just so beautiful that it’s chilling, and the backing vocals in the final chorus are superb. Well done Luck Rock!
Tripon – Equestrian Dubba | Deep Dubstep
Tripon shows us once again that he can do the deep as well as heavy. Dark vocals and some nice atmospheric synths come together with some solid percussion work to give some real nice vibes. Make sure you have a sub, or some really nice headphones, you’re definitely going to want to hear the bass in this one.
[P@D] Progressive Element, bank pain & Tripon – Ghost In The Dream | Neurofunk
Three awesome names come together and deliver this monster of a collab, namely Progressive Element, bank pain and Tripon. Massive bass design combined with some amazing atmosphere make this a very chilling listening experience. Some excellent halftime sections and breaks complete the nerve busting drops. This is truly a song you don’t want to miss!
Editor’s note: This song is from the upcoming Ponies At Dawn album, Anthology! Full details on the album release and livestream event will be ready shortly, but pre-orders are open now, with a very special option available…
TCB – Monophobia (Hay Tea Remix) | Drum & Bass
Hay Tea puts a nice spin on a track from TCB‘s Cutie Cuts EP in this remix. Hay Tea’s smooth drum and bass style is complemented nicely by TCB’s vocal chops. I love reimagination of the original as drum and bass, and the character and emotions from the original are preserved perfectly in this remix. It’s a song you should check out!
Daniel Ingram – You’re In My Head Like a Catchy Song (Foozogz Remix) | Electro
A new song from Foozogz is always a treat, and this emotional song doesn’t disappoint. Foozogz gives us this unique remix of You’re In My Head Like A Catchy Song featuring a little section from Days Gone By, which is very fitting and adds a nice interlude. Check it out for happy, bubbly feelings!
TCB – Atychiphobia | Future Bass
TCB’s new EP, Cutie Cuts, is something to behold. The EP is themed around the fears of the CMC, and it’s amazingly well done. This song, Atychiphobia, meaning the fear of defeat, really portrays Scootaloo’s fear of not meeting the aspirations she has. The vocal chops and melodies are extremely well done and the emotion of the song really shines through. The vocal snippet from Parental Glideance really creats a tender moment that makes a perfect transition into the main section of the song.
Be sure to check out Sweetie Belle’s song Atelophobia (the fear of imperfection) and Apple Bloom’s song Monophobia (the fear of being alone). One song should not listened to without the other, just like the CMC always come together.
