Inwel – Octavia’s Electric Cello | Future

Ohey, another debut musician! While Inkwel may still have quite a way to go in terms of production quality, it’s always great to to see new musicians starting up and doing their own thing. Nice chords in this, it’ll be interesting to see where Inkwel goes from here.

Vocal Score & Scarlet Harmony – Come With Me | Acoustic

We’ve featured Vocal Score and his amazing voice on this site before, but Scarlet Harmony is a new name to us…and WHAT A VOICE she has that counterparts Vocal Score’s brilliantly. The harmonies in this song are beautiful, the lyrics are so touching…I sure hope these two do live performances together, I’d love to see that some day!

Various Artists – JapanPonyParty! Vol.3 | Album | Multi-Genre

We completely missed this when it first released back in May, but thanks to someone sending it in to us, we’re able to share it with you today! This compilation album featuring artists from the Japanese fandom scene was released at Japan Ponycon in May earlier this year. It features some names you might recognise (e.g. Oodoratoo2, delfino), but also has a wide variety of other artists you may never have heard of, and a huge range of genres too! The above video contains previews of each track, and the album itself can be downloaded from JPP’s website for free!

SophiiVA – Nightmares (Sasha Lace Remix) [ft. GhostXb & Carret Top] | Orchestral Pop

Just over a year ago SophiiVA released her first original pony song, an awesome acoustic piece based on Do Princesses Dream of Magical Sheep? called Nightmares. This version from Sasha Lace and friends had been in the works for over a year and it’s a delight to finally see it released. It has all the makings of a pop ballad set to a full orchestra, and Sophii’s vocals are to die for; definitely one of my favourites so far this month!

Trixent – Twilight’s Sweepy Surprise | Drum & Bass

It’s not often we get to feature an artist’s first track, and it’s a pleasure to hear a really well-made first song too! This dnb piece has some neuro and hardcore influences and the bass used is particularly impressive stuff! Go check it out and show Trixent some love.
