Flyghtning has brought back their Hornwerk side project – a ponification of Kraftwerk – for another cover/parody. This time it’s their take on The Model, Kraftwerk’s most popular song from the 80s, having turned it into a song about Rarity…

Vocal Score – The Spectacle | Electronic
Vocal Score has taken a very unique take on The Spectacle for us. I don’t really know what genre to call this, but boooy is it dark and his vocals add a real intensity to the song, especially holding those long “oooooh” notes – I’m getting shivers! Nice work Vocal Score, what a voice you have!
NeverLastStanding – Hyperion | Glitch-Hop
Continuing the hype train for the upcoming Ponies At Dawn album is the criminally under-subscribed NeverLastStanding! This midtempo song is an interesting take on the Glitch-Hop/Moombahcore sound that’s possibly most commonly recognised in TheLivingTomstone’s songs. Go check it out for good old 110bpm wubs!
Ponies At Dawn: Awakening – Live Release Party Friday 29th April!

THE HYPE TRAIN HAS NO BRAKES! As you may know from our Cider Party exclusive posts, the latest Ponies At Dawn compilation album is set to be released this coming Friday. What you probably didn’t know is that our friends at PonyvilleFM have got an entire day’s worth of DJ sets and live shows to celebrate it!
The day starts 10am Eastern with 7 different hour-long DJ sets, with the official album playthrough starting at 5pm Eastern, hosted by Lycan and Chord Catcher as a special edition of Lycan Dese Beats. The whole album lasts for over 4 hours, SOOO much music! Following that, 3 more DJ sets to finish off the day, ending at midnight.
If you need to figure out what time to tune in, this link shows the starting time of the album playthrough across 4 major timezones. If you’re still having trouble figuring it out, comment or tweet at us (@HorsMusicHerald), we might be able to help.
Spread the word! Build the hype! Share the music and share the love! Peace.
Rusty Thorsell – DARE | Pop
A fun, bouncy little pop song from Rusty sure to put a smile on your face (unless you’re this guy). It’s full of little scat parts and an amusing little bridge which I’m sure Rusty had a lot of fun putting together! Go check it out for happy bouncy smiles!
Horse Music Hotspot – April 2016
The April edition of the Horse Music Hotspot is now available to listen back to! Remember that we now have it available on YouTube, on SoundCloud, and as a podcast (click here for more info). To catch it live, tune into PonyvilleFM on the last Sunday of each month at 10pm Eastern, and follow us on Twitter if you want some reminders about it on the day.
MrMehster – Bloodline (ft. Francis Vace) | Electro-Rock
An interesting piece from MrMehster here, a rock song with electronic drums, almost with a DnB feel to it. This is also his last song for a while, as he’s taking an indefinite hiatus. Best wishes for you future plans MrMehster, and thanks for the music!
UndreamedPanic – Quest (IKX Remix) | Dubstep
An entry to UndreamedPanic’s (rather under-publicised) remix contest, IKX brings his dubstep interpretation of Quest to the table, and then proceeds to destroy said table with some beastly growls. Check it above for wubs!
Francis Vace – Luna | Punk
More fandom classic covers from Francis Vace! This time it’s his take on Luna, the first ever fandom song with vocals (free fun fact for you), with a…different take on some of the lyrics. If you’re familiar with a certain other cover Francis did, you’ll know what I mean, go check this out!
StringStorm – Twilight of the Sun Goddess | Orchestral
A short but sweet orchestral piece from StringStorm to fill up the afternoon: Complete with a Latin-singing choir whose lyrics apparently mean nothing at all…not that many would notice 😉
