Now this is something we’re excited to see! A State of Sugar is a new and upcoming label for brony trance music (among other chill, melody-driven genres) which will be launching this September. Organised by Violin Melody and Obscure Dragone, they’re looking for producers to contribute to the label. Currently you can send in either songs that have yet to be released or something you’ve already published, so if you’re a trance producer, why not get in touch?

We have a whole mixture of things for you this month – not much rock music this time, but plenty of “misc” genres such as hip-hop, jazz, and acoustic. Every month brings something new!

For those of you who have been around since we started up in January (goodness, where does the time go?), you may remember our YouTube playlists. These consist of 4 playlists that we updated manually: one with all the music we posted, and three others with electronic, rock, and misc music. Well, we kept forgetting to update them for weeks, if not months, at a time, but I’m delighted to say they’re back and better than ever!
We are now able to automatically update these playlists on a daily basis thanks to Charlton Rodda, a British programmer who approached us and very kindly offered to help build a system for us to automate the playlists. From everyone at HMH, thank you Charlton for your help, it’s invaluable to us!

This is the second Lycan Dese Beats album and we welcome back FritzyBeat as my cohost to provide his amazing commentary (and to put up with my puns). This album has been over 4 months in the making and a big thanks goes to ALL the musicians who submitted songs to make this a truly wonderful album.
