The time of new smiles and celebrations in pony spirit is drawing near, with HarmonyCon happening on February 8th – 10th, and the lovely con mascots duo of DoTheDaringDew and Brittney Ackerman are doing wonders to raise the hype to cute/100 levels, with this happy and very pony-like Soft Rock song starring the two musicians and ponies as singers, and a video made by Hyper Dash! From the Ponies at Dawn charity album, Recollections, Einarx has given us a reprise of Guardian. Unlike their VIP of the song back in 2017, this takes everything from before and flips it on its head! All in all we’ve been given a very soothing turn from the hard hitters of yesteryear, with a heavily ethnic feel mixed with subtle electronic elements and a foreboding atmosphere that will instantly take you on an ethereal journey from the Far-East!

It’s like Remember Falling heard all of our subconscious calls for a continuation to the original Going Down that was so epic!! Equally epic and badapple, this part 2 about the MLP villains is kicking flank so much once again with incredible lyrics fitting to the villains’ personalities and stories, very cool vocals, and an enthralling electronic instrumental of much emotion!
[ASOS] TCB – Powerful and Great (Crafty V4) | Electronic
A crafty revival of an old project, Powerful and Great is a new solo track from our beloved TCB that we’re so glad is gracing A State of Sugar Ice Cream with its presence! And the same could be said of Trixie, who makes a cute appearance in both this video and the music, with her irresistible voice complementing a trippy and melodic instrumental signed TCB!

Voltex Pixel – We are the One (feat. Princess Twilight Sparkle) | Melodic Dubstep
Now this is a breath of fresh air. Voltex Pixel brings the feel of something old but something new with “We are the One” gives us a taste of intricate melodic vocals from Twilight Sparkle chopped up and creatively spliced throughout the song as well as as some really nice piano melodies and saw chords that remind me of the days back in 2011 where EDM as a whole had that “signature” sound which still holds a special place in my heart. I see some great things coming from this artist in the future 🙂
[ASOS] Zythiria – Serenity | Chillout
Zythiria aka SkyAudioPony signs another gorgeous piece with Serenity from A State of Sugar Ice Cream, an emotional journey into Fluttershy’s world. Echo-y piano melodies are painting a heavenly landscape of the mind, while many soothing sounds all around are taking us farther in, making us be at one with the yellow pegasus, feeling at peace for a frozen moment in time…
Brilliant Venture – Moved On (Extended Outro Mix) | Dubstep
An emotional closure to a meaningful live mix, this “Extended Outro Mix” played at Trotcon 2018 is very intense in how it extends the melodies from the original Moved On, always so powerful, all while including pony vocal samples and bringing all the pony spirit one last time during the mix. The last section is extremely emotional as well and it’s actually hard for me to write this song up without bursting into tears. Brilliant’s music always tends to be emotional for me and this one certainly is very potent in that regard! Don’t forget, you can watch the full recording of the music live here!
[ASOS] CRUVOD – Tasty Chocolate Asteroids | Happy Hardcore
Perfectly following up on the “sweets” and sugary concept from the A State of Sugar albums, CRUVOD went for a tasty Pinkie track for Ice Cream, that delivers a bouncy and uplifting instrumental fitting so well to the pink pony’s cheerful personality. The thought of chocolate asteroids is just so cute, too, and the whole track and its concept is just making me melt!
MC-Arch – Close To Me (The Cosine Pitchshifterz Remix) | Hardstyle
The pony Hardstyle master gives some love to MC-Arch by remixing one of the songs from his debut album If I ever Forget, and it is such a welcomed initiative! Presented in a whole new way along Cosine’s signature musical style, the heartfelt original vocals are resonating with our hearts once more as the banging remix unfolds. A perfect fusion, and it’s so emotional to witness!
