Another P@D double feature for y’all. First up is this track from Intersekt, which demonstrates pretty well how far he’s come since he started making music. Full of bounce and a solid bassline, and with a good deal of futurey vibes too.
Don’t be deceived; it may start off sounding like a deadmau5-esque prog house track but it’s now! Instead, this swiftly drops into heavy beats from the fandom king of bass house {{citation needed}}.
Sunday night speed horse music for your earholes. I’ve not got much to say about this one, it’s heavy, has some insane bass, and a looped animation of human dashie pulling off some dance moves.
(Apologies it’s not very in-depth, it’s late for me 😴)

Silver Note is one of the most vocally impressive rock musicians around the fandom in my opinion, and he makes great use of his vocals here in this track about Spike and Ember called Run. The guitars here also have a really nice tone to them, and there’s also a few subtle electronic elements that help to flesh out the piece. In recent times he’s achieved a relatively mainstream alt. rock / pop-rock sound, so if that’s your thing, this is absolutely worth checking out!

Brilliant Venture seems to have one mission – to mash together as many wubs and pony vocals as possible. This tracks certainly pushes him further along that adventure with an awesome mix of complextro sounds, and pony samples galore. The build up to the drop especially makes fantastic use of the ‘I’ve Been Dreaming’ song from Rainbow Dash. If ponies and chilled out complextro drops are your thing, this is more than worth a listen!
There is always something special to Foozogz’s music that you can’t grasp but that adds a certain emotional layer, like a unique “feel”, and this remix of Derpy Racers is no exception. Fast-paced and energetic, it wonderfully blends Foozogz’s signature uplifting mood into the joy conveyed and evoked by Happy Hardcore. Let us partake upon this release while cheering for the derby all over again!
And now, Jyc’s other track from Voyager. This one was a pretty cool collaboration – getting Francis on another track with the metal guitars, and Woodlore’s voice is so powerful it fits the genre very well (and the little acoustic bridge part means we get to hear him do his thing too!)
Going back to the episode Luna Eclipsed from season 2, StealingShad3Z has done a soft, emo rock song based on said episode. Unrelated to his upcoming album, Marks of Monarchs (oh wait, that’s due today!), it’s intended as more of a Halloween song. Makes sense considering the episode it’s about.
Latin always makes song titles sound more dramatic, right? This piece from Elias Frost is rather different to his usual stuff; no guitars in sight, but some drums and a bass to accompany the orchestral instruments that slowly build up this haunting atmosphere. Great stuff that I can perhaps see working well as an animation soundtrack or something…
Another one of the songs that ertrii’s been releasing in quick succession recently. Some almost breakbeat style drums carry the beat with some lovely pluck sounds and reverb-filled pads.
Oh and ertrii, have a hug from all of us ♥
To our greatest delight, F3nning is back with a new pony track, enthralling with a blissful take on IDM and accompanied by masterful vocal chops that are definitely much welcomed. I highly recommend checking the rest of F3nning’s channel, awesome stuff!
