Next to Burstin’ Sun, this second contribution to the tribute album toward King Mars from Fractilx takes on a community favorite by paying tribute to the Derpy x Dr. Hooves ship in a musical way. The tender atmosphere definitely conveys the love very well, as the science/tech-y synths and melodies and the occasional bells remind of Dr. Hooves’ character as depicted in the fateful episode 100 or inside the community for ages! A bond that will last forever and that will never be broken, and including a time-traveling pony, that’s what a timebond is!

The Dark Side – Into The Snow | House
Featuring art from renowned Rarijack-Daily artist WhiteDiamonds, The Dark Side presents the YouTube release of Into The Snow, a much welcomed House track with an interesting progression and cool chords. You don’t know the power of The Dark Side!
Protocat – I’ll Fly | Drum & Bass
No Fun Allowed is a gold mine for amazing pony songs I told you, and Protocat is definitely one of the newfound artists that stood out. This wonderful Drum & Bass remix of the emotional I’ll Fly brings some more feels with the quite unique and masterful use of pony vocals as melodies, that does wonders here. Made me tear up on my first listen along Xavi-nyan when we listened to the album in sync. A definite must-get, so go grab the album and listen to it if you haven’t already!
Rusty Thorsell – Best Day | Indie Pop
Rusty never fails to bring to life unique and happy melodic bliss and this song especially feels like a musical embodiment of raw positivity to me. An original and beautiful instrumental, and cute vocals that make you want to prance around in a grassy meadow holding balloons, give to this song its unique charm.
iRhymeTheSongs – Sunbutt (Steve Martin Parody) | Funk
Is this funk? I think it’s kinda funky. Anyway, something a bit lighter to end off your Tuesday, a ponified version of the novelty song King Tut by Steve Martin. Tongue-in-cheek lyrics and references completely intended.
The Shake Ups In Ponyville – Baking With Gummy | Power Pop
Released in time for the celebration of Andrea Libman’s birthday that is TODAY (July 19th), this Pinkie & Gummy duet from the album Rock Candy (that you can get as a physical CD) not only shines as a strong and happy Power Pop song much to the style of The Shake Ups, but also comes with a delightful music video that is sweet as honey and happy as a pink pony can be. It is sure to make you smile! Go give a smile back to the band with a comment, and go throw the best party ever for Andrea Libman, Pinkie’s voice actress! We love you Andrea, happy birthday and have a blast partying hard as a Pinkie, or soft as a Fluttershy!
[KM] Budzy, UndreamedPanic, & Progressive Element – Shakedown | Bass House
Collabs are always fun to do and the song produced as a result is often greater than sum of its parts. Check out this 3-way track from Budzy, Panic, and Prog from the King Mars tribute album. “It’s lit a f.”
Mantlegen – Teardrop Harmony | House / Future Bass
The South Korean brony electronic music scene is strong right now. Artists like GROskAr, Einarx have been making waves for a while, and now Mantlegen is putting out more and more well-produced tracks. Teardrop Harmony is a a sort of hybrid of house and future bass, with the same high quality production we’ve come to see from the SK team.
[LDB] Dragonal – Break Our Limits | Metal
Another LDB album treat, this time courtesy of Dragonal. This metal song focuses on Apple Bloom and the CMC, set before they got their cutie marks last season.
Mr Mehster – Bloodhound (ft. N. Hollow) | Glitch-Hop / Trap
[Explicit lyrics included] Temporarily back from his hiatus, Mr Mehster has a new song for us that’s a interesting sort of fusion between glitch-hop and trap. Also featuring vocals from N. Hollow, and up-and-coming rapper , it’s a banger of a tune!
