Blurain blesses our ears once again with some Rock! This – originally unreleased – song talks about a subject that gathered quite some tears across our community: the last episode of MLP:FiM. Blurain surprised me by being able to have a dynamic, fast-paced song that also made my eyes watery! But in the end, he still reminds us that the most important is to remember the good times we had. Violight – Becoming Popular (covering Daniel Ingram & Kazumi Evans) | Pop
We probably don’t feature enough purely vocal covers, so this is a nice welcome addition to our usual features. Violight’s cover of Rarity’s solo song Becoming Popular is delightful with a bit of a softer touch than the original. She even handles the harmony line fabulously!

Japkozjad definitely knows how to put on a show, and that’s what he demonstrated with his last release! The energetic rhythm combined with the vocals of FalafelJake gave me the want – or should I say the need! – to bob my head and move in rhythm to the beat of that music. Add that to the big drops that song gives us, and you have just what’s needed to dance. So put on this track and join us on the dancefloor!
Daniel Ingram – Legend You Are Meant to Be (Sylvver Remix) | Future House
Sylvver has shown his talent of creating fabulous remixes already, but this time he is tackling his first remix from one of the show’s songs with Equestria Girls’ “Legend You Are Meant To Be”. The instruments are introduced slowly piece by piece, familiarising the listener with the ensemble in the build up to the refrain with Sylvver’s softer bouncy style. The song is also slowed down a bit compared to the original, making the vocals more impactful, more inviting to sing along to and giving the whole track more time to unfold its parts. Especially with the tempo adaption this remix will quickly engrain itself into your musical memory, so give it a listen!
Totalspark – Call Your Name VIP ft Synthis and SDreamExplorerS | Liquid Drum & Bass
TotalSpark brings us a remix of his most popular pop song, Call Your Name! While still featuring SDreamExplorerS and Synthis, this update is a more energetic and dynamic version! The particular focus on making the voice clearer and the piano more defined definitely helped give a beloved song an even more appreciated remix! The only thing needed now is to relax as the music gently guides us to enjoy the moment thanks to the path it creates with its lyrics and harmony.
Nexgen – Tomoe | Hip-Hop
Nexgen’s latest release tells us about the story of a pony deciding to protect a mare running from danger. The combination of the mysterious hip-hop vibes and the dynamic rhymes makes us feel their defensive position and also the strength of the team as he gets ready to save the defenseless, no matter the cost. Harmony Bop – THE FIRE OF FRIENDSHIP | Progressive Metal
This is certainly a track you certainly don’t see everyday.
Harmony Bop brings us the latest addition to his series of songs focused on the princesses, this one about Twilight Sparkle. Combining deep guttural vocals and beautiful harmonies (of course) with the same fantastic vocal style you hear in his other works as well as visuals that guide the listener through this musical story, “THE FIRE OF FRIENDSHIP” could almost be compared to a symphonic metal orchestra, complete with seven unique sections perfectly blended to create an epic masterpiece chronicling best Book Horse’s journey and struggles through the series. Keep an ear out for the perfectly-blended MLP:FiM theme song, as well as verses dedicated to every villain Twilight and her friends have encountered.

Blurain decided to bring the bass guitar for this one, and it was definitely justified with this awesome tune! “Shadow on the Moon” presents Celestia’s point of view after banishing Luna to the moon. The strength put into the vocals definitely shows the pain and regret the princess felt afterwards. Enjoy this song as it describes the hidden agony of being separated from your sister for a thousand years!
EveryDayDashie – Summer Forever | Upbeat Acoustic / Folk
As we entered fall, and with winter quickly approaching, there is nothing better than a song to warm our hearts in order to remember the good times we had in summer – And that’s exactly what EveryDayDashie did with their song “Summer Forever”!
