Instant Welcøme with a SHED.MOV-inspired track, and such thematic flavor is always so good to see! Or to hear, as vocal samples are tastefully included in this crazy and fast Breakcore treat, and it all sounds so refreshing!
Toby Macarony – Sometimes I’m Scared | Alternate Electronic / Dark Ambient
What might just be my new favorite dark experiment from Toby, Sometimes I’m Scared is named after an aptly chosen lyric from A Changeling Can Change, sampling that song and turning its vocals into mysterious, spooky yet emotional sounds. The very Ambient-like instrumental, amazingly completed by a Funk-like backup, is doing wonders at creating a stunning experience, and I wish more dark experiments like these were being made in the community because it sure sounds so unique and emotional. A real masterpiece and culmination among Toby’s dark musical experiments, in my opinion!
[P@D] Quicksilver – Growing Up | Punk Rock
It’s refreshing to get an instrumental piece from Quicksilver, and no I’m not saying that because of that pool artwork picked by P@D as the cover art for it! The joy and lighthearted-ness of the moment sure does fit the music, with our beloved ska-punk musician doing wonders with those Surf Rock-like guitar melodies and the upbeat atmosphere all around! But of course the track still expresses loudly that heavy power of rock music with some energetic riffs! And if you know the musician, you can bet it has some lovely pony theme behind it! A tasty gem, from Ponies at Dawn Skyward!
Vylet Pony & Sylver – Roses / Overrun / The Prince of Sorrow | Indie Pop / Progressive Rock
The last tracks off Homeward to be uploaded to YouTube, these 3 definitely show the extent of Vylet’s musical skills and inspirations. All while calling back to the story in musical ways, the tracks exhibit atmospheric bliss, Funk craziness, and Prog Rock reawakening, all in style! A new Soundtrack treat from Chiptune Brony, this one stars characters that naturally have RPG vibes, dragons! With such a blissful retro sound, the boss battle-like track is such a delight, and with this kind of wonderful releases it is surprising that the musician doesn’t already have way more subs than that! Still, awesome milestone, here’s wishing for way more to join!

P@D has been known in this fandom to have the most diverse variety of music. You will find just about anything on these albums. I mean ANYTHING! Skyward is no different. Like this track about Equestria’s most beautiful unicorn Rarity. I’m sure a lot of you know about the song done by Mantlegen before this one. He has upped this song to a new level of unicorn sex appeal with the help of Mr. LennonBlack. (Ya think the cover art gave that away!)
I have to admit that Rarity would have this wild side to her. This catchy and suggestive track sure brings that out of her. The music in itself has this hyper exotic feel to it (along with sound clips of Rarity’s voice actress in the official Korean dub of MLP). She has that vibe to her with her character, so its a fun twist on that. I don’t think this track is for everyone. I do think that the atmosphere, the harmonies of this track, let us bring out that different and fun side of us. I like to believe that Rarity is no different given if she found the right special some pony to show this too. It’s a very steamy feeling. Give it a shot, a bouncy track is a great term for this kind of music. Trust me LOL.

A fine taster from the album, this incredible Ambient piece from Nevermourn is so stunning, and showcases so well the emotion and charms of the genre, with a masterful use of synths that deeply move your soul for an experience like none other. It feels like you could drift in bliss forever while listening to this! Definitely a shining success, and there will be lots more to appreciate on “Out of Limit 4: The Philosophy of Time”!
