Elias Frost – Dance Magic (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Metal

Elias Frost is back to some more show song covers, with a nice video of the performance like he normally has alongside them. This is a somewhat heavy cover of Dance Magic from the Equestria Girls specials, and he’s done a good job of maintaining the feel of the original whilst giving it some of his own twists as well. Check it out below!

StealingShad3z – A Short Song For Young Hearts | Acoustic

Stealing Shad3z has a great voice which he uses well in most of his productions. Here the focus is almost entirely on that aspect of his musicality, alongside some lovely acoustic guitar. The stripped down instrumental allows for focus on the vocals and lyrics being performed about the goings on in The Perfect Pear. Check it out below!

[ASoS] fractilx – Historize | Future Bass

Yet another track from fractilx on ASOS! This one might just be the best one she got on there. Twinkling bells and plucky synths are augmented by hard but smooth drums and saw-ish wubs. Fast, sleek, and relaxing, much like Dash herself, this is a sublime example of future bass.

DJ Gestap – Night Out 17 | Progressive Trance

After 2 years of inactivity due to health problems, DJ Gestap makes an incredible comeback with this atmospheric and uplifting progressive trance track. The composition of this track and the synth are really awesome. I think that DJ Gestap is here to stay!

Royalpony – My Little Dashie (Bronycon 2017 Special) “Dashies Letter” | Melodic Hardstyle

This absolutely amazing song (5 years in the making!) brought me to tears. My Little Dashie is allegedly one of the saddest fanfics ever written, but I’ve somehow never read it. After this song, I’m definitely going to.

I’ve long been a hardstyle fan, but this is something special. It’s hard to mix hardstyle’s structure with sadness and emotion, and yet it’s one of the most emotional songs I’ve ever heard. What a song!

Alexey Kotlyar – Realm of Frost and Ice | Orchestral

Alexey creates a soundscape of orchestral beauty with finesse and grace. It calls to mind Luna’s visit to the frozen north of Equestria. It is dark, cold, and desolate, but a few hints of light remain. Luna treks through the snow, searching for something, but what?

Synthis – Insane (feat. Sora) (Seventh Element Remix) [Liquid Drum & Bass]

Seventh Element executes a minimalistic, vocals-focused spin on Synthis and Sora’s house duet. Reverb and light vocal chopping pair up to keep things surprising. His infrasonic oscillator modules the drums wonderfully. Overall, this remix has the vocal-centric take of an acapella with just enough instrumentation to stay EDM.

[P@D] Del Rom – Battle Ready / PEGA & DJT – Pewter | Glitch Hop

Del Rom kicks things off here with great drops, vocal chops, and sound design. It’s a perfect feel good song especially when you prepare for those battles such as those online shooter games or role playing games. The song is definitely something you would not want to miss out on.

Another great song from the recent Ponies at Dawn album is PegasYs and DJT (no surprise since he’s on this album six times). They team up together to combine chiptune with some glitch hop! There’s good, crispy clean sound design along with a really sweet animation that Ice bear’s sure you’ll definitely enjoy watching throughout the entire song.

StrachAttack – The PVNK | Dubstep

Strach Attack is one of few artists in the fandom that I can pick out right away just by the mixdown, and I think that says enough about the quality. Coming at you with chuggy wobs and an attitude that only us Canucks can bring to the table, and right after a fire EP no less – we get THE PVNK. I see you my dude, I see you. Tune in for a fire beat and those aforementioned chuggy wobs, you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to check out Strach’s Bandcamp for his Burnout EP as well.

anosci – smiles n’ balloons (Additive Subtractive Remix) | Hardcore

Additive Subtractive has been around for quite a while. He specializes in top-tier happy hardcore. This remix of sci’s great work “smiles n’ balloons” channels that energy. Pinkie samples and high-pitched, bright synths are set to a speeding beat here, in this teaser for Bronycon!
