The dnb crew have been on fire recently! The second of today’s features to include Sky Runner is a remix of Ponytronic’s track Near Clear Skies. This one is a lot more traditional d&b in style than the earlier post, though with some cool chord modulation in the second half.

The drum & bass never stops! Here’s one from Sky Runner, collaborating with Hay Tea to produce a fusion of drum & bass with chiptune. Some of the chip sounds are a little on the harsh side, but it mixes really well with the other electronic elements to create something I’d totally dig as final boss music.

bank pain has been featured before as part of a Cider Party release, but now he’s finally started utilising his own YouTube channel, his releases having previously only resided on Soundcloud. This track showcases his ability to create enthralling drum & bass punctuated by neuro sound design and a lot of awesome little extra bits and pieces. With a somewhat mellow and chilled out feel to it, yet maintaining a subtle sense of urgency, this piece is well worth checking out!

Part of Ponytronic’s imminent Impetuous Views Remix/Orchestral Suite album, this remix of his track Resumption from Protocat is a pretty welcome addition. Featuring some solid d&b drums, a nice wobbling bass and, most welcome, some great integration of vocal chops that fit snugly into the mix, this is a pretty neat reinterpretation of what was initially, for the most part, a much more chillout-oriented tune.

Filly in the Box is back with a new remix of Sky Runner’s recent drum & bass track Heartstrings, after Sky Runner recently remixed one of FITB’s tunes. Starting off with a cool tape effect on the original before coming into some new stuff, Filly has dialed up the sound design by taking the original and adding his own signature neuro spin. I especially like those wobbly synths used in the second drop. Make sure to check it out!
Hot on the heels of the last HMC album release, Fruity is planning another one, seemingly featuring this one as an exclusive, and serving as a preview for what’s yet to come. Smooth dnb with a wintery theme – perfect for a December evening.
Sky Runner just doesn’t stop releasing tuuuune after tune. We’ve already seen what happened when she teamed up for a collab with FitB, now we have her remix of one of Filly’s songs, Manehatten Nights. Expect the same top-notch level of production on this liquid dnb track.
Another collaboration displaying both the power of uniting talents and the unique sensitivity of DnB, this new collab between Age of Vinyl and Hay Tea (reminiscent of Iridescence) conveys all the beauty of the cover art with a wonderful journey through sound and many wonders. You might recognize the melody at 1:34 from another track, here being sublimated with an amazing DnB progression and wonderful atmospheric designs. A successful collaboration that’s always so amazing to experience! One More!
A new stunning collaboration happened, blending styles in a wonderful way to create something unique. FillyInTheBox’s dark Neurofunk style, as enthralling as ever, meets Sky Runner’s increasingly popular DnB style, hence the new collab name “Sky in the Box”. From the dark depths of the unknown, gathering creativity and the power of Friendship, the two artists crafted this amazing track filled with haunting atmospheres, beautiful melodies and a DnB beat that’s giving it a sick rythm. Also check FillyInTheBox’s upload. This may be “coordinated chaos” as he says, I feel the following quote still applies : “Two in harmony surpasses one in perfection.”
Sky Runner is on a roll lately, ans this new DnB track from the producer is centered around Lyra Heartstrings and fittingly includes harp melodies, along the equally fitting strings and the masterfully designed percussions giving to the beat an unique spin. One More!
