[P@D] Einarx – Guardian (Q-Sik Remix) | Dubstep

Already gracing us with their Dubstep back in Voyager with their track Pills, Q-Sik is back to present us a piece of Amity and another token of talent. Taking on the classic Guardian from Einarx, the musician gives it his own heavy yet mellow spin, where beautiful melodies and sick beats galore.

Totalspark – What Once Was (feat. Itchigotchi) (Spectra Remix) | Melodic Dubstep

Melodic Dubstep has always been my weakness ever since the Omnipony days, and it has been quite rare since then, but our beloved Spectra had the amazing idea of sublimating What Once Was with the mighty power and emotion of the genre, and it sure achieved its targets! Heavenly synths, melodic drops of untold emotion, and beautiful breaks of divine purity, are all parts of what makes this remix special to me. An amazing job, and tribute to both the original track and the genre!

Filly in the Box – Windigo (Einarx Remix) | Dubstep

A recent favorite of mine, this outstanding remix from Einarx displays inventive techniques and doesn’t fail to impress in both sound design and composition. Building on Filly in the Box‘s melodies and signature sound, the remix creates a distinct new mood and impresses with a seamless flow of sick sounds that is just insane. These ponies are crazy. Crazy good.

[P@D] bank pain – Empire Past (PVNK Remix) | Dubstep

Bank Pain‘s Empire Past has inspired just as much as it has delighted it seems, and this resulting streak of remixes certainly is a feast. This one is especially crazy, much fitting to how crazy good the original is, and PVNK aka Phoxi displays all his incredible talent at sound design and unique song structures, with this outstanding remix that is so good and inventive that it’s scary.

[P@D] Silver Note – Run (Flittzy Remix) | Melodic Dubstep

One of the many graceful pieces from Amity, this remix of Silver Note’s Run sublimates its godly vocals in a Melodic Dubstep way along heavenly synths, a gentle yet strong beat, and very lovely melodies that evoke emotions so easily. Masterpiece of a remix!

[P@D] Thrasher – Orbit (Brilliant Venture Remix) | Metalstep

Thrasher’s song Orbit from the last P@D album was already one of my favourites, Vylet’s vocal edit was great too. And we’re keeping that train of production rolling with Brilliant Venture’s Remix, which combines the awesome guitar riffs of the original with Brill’s (somewhat) newfound sound design skills. Two different paces too – full time breakbeat for the first drop and half time dubstep in the second – always a decent little switchup for any ~140bpm song.

Totalspark – Battlecry | Hybrid Trap

Just as epic as what the cover art by Fruitbloodmilkshake implies (personal share), Totalspark’s new release through Shika No Mori Sound enlightens the soul and the battle spirit as a real musical embodiment of a Battlecry. Blending Trap and Dubstep elements, it is displaying much strength and dedication, and achieving the scale of Equestrian battles with clean yet sick melodies and wubs over a breathtaking progression.

ExplodingPonyToast, LutariFan & ThatMusicBrony – Start Again (Suskii Remix) | Dubstep

For all of you Awakening fans and reminiscent of the iconic Start Again, here’s yet another token of its timeless excellence and remix-appeal as Suskii turns the track in a completely new direction. It is bringing all the heavy Dubstep wubs while keeping part of that certain emotion that is singular to the original, creating a brand new emotional piece of many wonders, and ready to set any party on fire.

[P@D] Phoxi – Starlight Ataraxia (Lovestruck Brony Remix) | Electronic

TBH I have no idea what genre this is because Lovestruck did such a good job of blending a bunch of different styles together, but namely dubstep and a kind of garage/breakbeat type part. And it’s not afraid to suddenly switch things up between the 2 styles. If you havent’ heard it already, I can almost guarantee the drop will take you by surprise.
