I haven’t heard of ChickenSteve’s music before, but he’s apparently been making music for about a year now. Here’s his most recent track, We’ll Be With You, an upbeat redemption song of sorts for Starlight Glimmer.

Throwback Thursday | Kreühn Pöny | Artist Spotlight
You may or may not have heard of this musician, they were one of the more, shall we say, elusive members of the fandom. Kreühn Pöny specialised in jazzy stuff; songs with odd time signatures and irregular beat patterns. You know, a similar feel that of SoGreatandPowerful’s music (which is a completely different kettle of fish that we’ll revisit another time!). So without further ado, let’s get to his small yet brilliant discography! Catch it all after the break…
Daniel Ingram – Battle of the Bands (JOSHH Remix) | Midtempo / Dubstep
Another heavy EDM track from JOSHH, this time it’s a sort of Midtempo / Dubstep remix of the fan-favourite Battle of the Bands from Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks. And it’s HEAVY. Check it out for wobs!
Neon & Xavi – Penumbra (Budzy’s Cheat Remix) | Future House
Marshmallow? What’s Marshmallow?
As part of a remix competition that Neon and Xavi held for their song Penumbra, Budzy took his own spin on it. Go check it out for sick beats. Das ist haus, das ist gut, ja?
うすうすベア – It’s Derpy Day! | Chipcore
No, that’s not an actual Japanese musician, just another one of fractilx’s aliases. We’re a bit late with this one, but they made a song for Derpy Day (1st March) and it’s super cute! A blend of Chiptune and Happy Hardcore, this certainly got me smiling, I hope it does the same for you.
Virus Ponies & Flutterpride – Louder | Future House
2 lesser-known musicians here, both with less than 100 subs, so those of you who like to discover new artists are in for a treat! Future House seems to be all the rage nowadays, so go check it out if you’re on the same bandwagon as Virus Ponies and Flutterpride.
WoodenToaster & The Living Tombstone – Lost On The Moon (feat. Rina Chan) [µThunder Remix] | Drum & Bass
Did someone say longest post title ever? µThunder is back with a new remix, and this has to be my favourite second favourite (sorry, Sinking Ships is bae) track from him ever. Combine that with an great PMV that he put together himself and the end result is quality content from µThunder as per usual!
Daniel Ingram – In Our Town (Cosine Pitchshifterz Remix) | Hardstyle
Starting us up today is a remix of Starlight Glimmer’s song from her entry into the show. This hardstyle re-imagining from Cosine Pitchshifterz is the kind of thing you don’t hear too much of in the fandom – raw aggressive hardstyle, where the kick takes centre stage in the second half of the track especially.
Xavi – Airwaves (NeoN Remix) | Future House
A bit of 00nt5 to kick off our solo posts today… DJ NeoN has remixed one of Xavi’s older songs, Airwaves, with a future house vibe, and 100% No a fair amount of Modern Talking (or at least I think so)!
