SpinScissor – Love Is in the Air | Electro Pop

If there is any musician that can create a catchy instrumental for their music, it’s SpinScissor, and this song is one of those earworm melodies. This track opens with Spin using extremely heavy autotune, which I don’t remember him ever doing to that high of a degree. In fact, most of the singing styles that Spin used feels unique compared to what Spin usually does; I honestly cannot remember a time where he added grittiness to his singing as well. This just adds not only to the edginess of the track and it’s theme, but is a testament to Spin’s already incredible singing talents.

GAZINGMOON – ComeOut | Witch House

We all know Fluttershy as a kind and caring character, but does she have a darker side? One of our fandom’s newest musicians, GAZINGMOON, explores this idea in their track, “ComeOut.” It’s quiet, creepy, sinister, and features extremely crunched samples of Fluttershy screaming. The arpeggiating pads and extremely tight snare add to the eerie feel–this is not the kind of house you normally hear, so make sure to check out its unique soundscape (unless you’re too scared to)!

Daniel Ingram – The Pony I Want To Be (Electrokaplosion Remix) | House

ElectroKaplosion brings us some heartfelt vibes with this remix of Daniel Ingram’s “The Pony I want to Be.” Its addictively simple, but highly danceable synths form the backbone of the track while keeping the slower tempo of the original, giving it a subdued yet energetic feel. Kapolosion cleverly uses a lowered version of Diamond Tiara’s voice for background vocals, adding so much depth and character. You’ll definitely be waving your hooves for this one when you hear it!

PumpkinZ – Twilight | Neurohop

PumpkinZ’s “Twilight” is a really interesting electronic track which fuses many different genres and styles. It opens with lush electronic piano balanced with a harsher plucked synth before rolling into an attention grabbing bass line seductively modulating between pitches over a lo-fi like groove. The middle section offers something completely different with its reverb-washed strings and flute before returning to its earlier section. Overall, it’s relaxing while simultaneously demanding your attention, making for a unique experience.

RedWire – CRYOGENIC | Drum & Bass

This erratic electronic track from RedWire depicts their own take on the origins of the Crystal Empire. The lyrics tell the story of a pony named Crystal Snow, who sets out to unlock the powers of the Crystal Heart and in so doing, finds herself consumed. Buzzing bass, frantic drums, and some wicked vocal effects create a captivating soundscape to complement this haunting, creative tale.
