EQD picked up this one before us, but we thought we’d do a post on it anyway, since it’s a very pretty piece. Driven by a piano and accompanied by strings, this somewhat melancholic piece struck a chord with me. No pun intended…no, really!
Orchestral
Jyc Row – Hearth’s Warming Eve Con 2016 Theme | Orchestral
Jyc Row has become one of my favourite orchestral producers in the fandom in a short amount of time, and here he’s managed to come up with a suitably epic theme for the Hearth’s Warming Con, in The Netherlands.
Radiarc – Everything is Mine | Orchestral
Radiarc, one of the kings of brony orchestral music, is back again with a piece about Diamond Tiara, pre-redemption I suppose. Check it out above for a dark-ish song, driven by haunting strings…
Sights Unseen – I Won’t Die | Orchestral Pop
Sights Unseen has been branching out into music about things other than multi-coloured equines (5 Nights at Freddy’s and The Walking Dead, for example), but here he returns to pony with a thought-provoking track about everybody’s favourite purple protagonist, Twilight Sparkle.
Sonic Hooves – Time | Piano Aria
Sonic Hooves presents, for reasons I am unsure of, his last song, hopefully only until September, but possibly forever. Thank you for your music contributions Sonic Hooves, and we send you our best wishes.
Aurelleah – Harmony | Orchestral
Aurelleah’s got a real treat for us today. With over 100 hours of input into it, he presents to us a Symphony Suite for the Mane 6, with a total of 7 movements. It truly is a wonderful piece of music, and I only wish it could be longer. Great work Aurelleah!
MeetSouder – Loyalty Orchestral Arrangement | Orchestral
Remember Loyalty, the track by Mandopony and Acoustic Brony? Meetsounder has done his own take on it as an orchestral arrangement, go listen for nostalgia.
Throwback Thursday | PinkiePieSwear | Artist Spotlight

If you’ve joined the fandom in the past 2 years, you might not have heard of this artist, but PinkiePieSwear was a common favourite back in the earlier days of the fandom (late 2011, early 2012), and was quite possibly the main reason vocal splicing became popular. So, whether you’ve never heard of their music before, or if you want to go on a trip down memory lane, head on below the break for some of my favourite old-school pony songs.
Totalspark – Past Nighmares | Electronic Orchestral
I still don’t know how Totalspark manages to release 2 new tracks every week, but I won’t complain. This piece combines electronic and orchestral elements nicely, something I’m always a fan of.
Aelipse – The World of Wonder and Magic | Orchestral
Perhaps it’s my lack of experience in the orchestral side of the fandom music scene, but I’d never heard of Aelipse before seeing this track. I gotta say though, this piece is very well crafted – good mixing, nice dynamic range, if only it could be longer than 2:12. Anyway go check this out to finish off our day.
