Frozen Night, aka the master of emotional Orchestral Metal who made many gorgeous instrumental pieces, teamed up with fabulous vocalist ForeverFreest to create this masterpiece and token of Amity. Deep strings and piano, epic drums and guitar, beautiful and resonant vocals, and even choruses pile up in a lovely progression to tell a moving tale in a powerful musical format. An amazing job, and another proof that two in harmony surpasses one in perfection!
Orchestral
Radiarc – Once | Orchestral
Radiarc’s new piece is a much emotional one, with heavenly piano and strings chanting the track into a mighty artifact of magic transcending time and space. The subtle OST vibes are adding even more depth to the song, further complemented by the fabulous piece of art from master Shamanguli. Sound beauty beyond words, and a piece to reminisce and reflect to during those small moments of time when we try to pause life in a lapse of awareness.
Zephysonas – Twilight Adventures | Orchestral
Acting as the perfect Soundtrack embodiment of the artwork that was used as the concept and cover art, Zephysonas’ new piece is a much cheerful one, conveying well the mood of such a cute and silly scene that is much inspired from what is commonly seen in animes and mangas, even drawing style-wise. The piece still displays much beauty, and talent at crafting both fitting Soundtrack and Orchestral greatness.
Aelipse – Luna’s Rebirth | Orchestral
Aelipse re-releases a much heartfelt Orchestral piece dedicated to beloved late MelodicPony, and it doesn’t fail to display much depth, grace and talent. The amazing progression and the solemn yet sensitive composition are much living up to the holy name of the piece, and it is forever a bliss to discover or re-discover.
[P@D] LutariFan – Where The Heart Is (Replacer Remix) | Piano / Orchestral
The much beloved ending track from Voyager, Where The Heart Is by LutariFan, gets an utterly beautiful and creative remix in Amity, as Replacer poured his passion into crafting this heterogeneous track full of many wonders. A wonderful tribute to the original, it takes inspiration from the original melodies to then build a complex and progressive piece that displays much talent and feelings, and that doesn’t fail to be emotional as well.
Wind Wolf – Serene Town | Orchestral
Another OST track from Adventure of the Lunarbolts like Across the Fields we’ve posted today, this one is from a familiar face, Wind Wolf aka Night Breeze, and it’s a town theme! Carelessly walk down the streets along the guitars and the flutes and immerse yourself in the spirit of the new town you’ve discovered, and don’t forget to look in even the most remote spots for treasure chests!
Senjan – Across the Fields | Orchestral
OST is my life, and I can feel so much nostalgia and familiar emotions while listening to this OST track for Adventure of the Lunarbolts, composed by David K Senjan. Taking the Orchestral route, this overworld theme has that emotional reminiscent musical mood that makes you reflect and feel good about your current adventure as your progress with your companions on the world map, and it does it so well. It also uses a motif from a past project, that truly conveys that RPG feel so well. If you want to know more, be sure to watch the video along the song! Senjan is not only a talented and inspired composer, he also dabbles in animation, and that is definitely a much welcome addition! Now, let’s travel to the next town where we’ll stay at the inn! Onwards, party members!
A Symphony Of Two – Through The Woods | Orchestral
Those familiar with J-RPGs and their OST will certainly appreciate how this new release from A Symphony Of Two perfectly acts as a field BGM for a forest area. Especially the dark kind of forests… which you could easily get lost in. Exploring the forest while searching for treasure chests or gathering spots, we are accompanied by a dark yet comfy atmosphere, and wind instruments recreating that musical feel that so often gets assimilated to wooden areas. Another perfect piece of many wonders and much nostalgia by A Symphony Of Two!
Ataraxia & Intersekt – Viridescent ft. Ink Sparks | Electronic
This new song from Ataraxia sees him collaborate with Intersekt and Ink Sparks to produce this wonderfully cinematic piece combining many electronica influences with orchestral elements. And what a voice Ink Sparks brings to this piece too, this is the first song I’ve heard that features her, and hopefully far from the last!
This track is part of an upcoming album from Ataraxia, entitled eternal perfect motion. Still in the works, it’s due to be released next month, and is available to pre-order on Bandcamp (with a tracklist that’s subject to change).
[P@D] CainbowRrash & A Symphony Of Two – To Find A Better Place | Orchestral
Those familiar with Friendship Symphonies have already heard CainbowRrash and A Symphony of Two, but this piece was the beginning of their collaboration, and a great end to the P@D Amity album. It begins with a tranquil wind section that slowly progresses as more instruments and harmonies are added, and finally resolves into my favorite section when the sax, and a lovely trumpet solo are introduced. You can actually see them recording this in the video! It’s an exploratory piece open to interpretation and doesn’t linger on one idea for too long. I definitely recommend checking it out!
