An undiscovered OST track from the fanmade pony game Ambient.White, Nature’s Frozen Embrace lives up to both the name of the game and the name of Frozen Night, with a delightful Ambient atmosphere that seems to depict a snowy landscape to explore or a mystical place frozen in time where some fateful event happened… or would happen as you visit it in the game.
Technickel Pony – PCD | Album | Hip-Hop
Technickel Pony‘s self-described “retrospective of the feelings experienced at a con” has arrived. After his wonderful collab album with mycutiemarkisagun, he continues the trend of convention-themed project and brings along his signature flips of various funk tunes along for the ride. He does delve into various other genres on tracks like “The Dance Floor,” and the album features a wealth of vocals from Wootmaster, as well as a rap from Doodled. A great album for reminiscing or kicking back on a weekend, this is a very worthwhile listen!
Vylet Pony – True Beauty (feat. Myles Vice) | Chillout
Continuing the release cycle for Glitter, Vylet brings along talented vocalist Myles Vice for a somber and beautiful piece. The atmosphere and vocals in this tune are impeccable and, combined with subtle guitar and trap-influenced percussion, create a haunting and gorgeous soundscape. If you can appreciate some great ambiance, don’t pass this one up!
[P@D] DJT, R3CTIFIER & UndreamedPanic – Guidance | Future Bass
One of my favorites from Ponies at Dawn Enigma and a masterpiece of sound and working together, Guidance from DJT, R3CTIFIER and UndreamedPanic provides a blissful journey of soothing sound design and emotional melodies, with pony vocals as the icing on the cake. The progression showcases many gorgeous parts where both melodies and vocals are making for much emotion, and that last part starting at 3:12 is just an emotional overkill, with that intense bass and layered melodies creating just a divine moment in time. This track is a Guidance for our soul!
Reverbrony – Fortune’s Favour | Groove Metal
And the last one in today’s streak of Rock/Metal posts, is Reverbrony’s bi-weekly piece full of many rocking wonders! A progression of awesome riffs is blowing us away, and it feels so good to join Reverbrony in imagining that it could be Starlight playing all this! I’d certainly attend to her gig, and same for Reverbrony!
DivinumX – Thorns of Heed | Black Metal
Let’s continue the rocking streak with a new piece by DivinumX, who goes the much welcomed Black Metal route! Deep and dark lyrics are fitting well to the genre, as screaming vocals complement an intrumental that is both heavy and bittersweet, with powerful melodies expressing much feelings.
M_Pallante – (No Longer) Alone | Rock
We’re in for a rocking streak of posts with this and the next ones! First up is M_Pallante’s second comeback tribute to MLP, and in particular Twily! Blissful Prog Rock vibes are accompanying M_Pallante’s gorgeous vocals sung with much talent! This works so well as an anthem to Friendship, and how Twilight is no longer alone, just like one is never alone in this wonderful community of bronies!
Feral FurE – Louder | Hardstyle
A nostalgic leap into that iconic scene with Rainbow and Flutter that we all know, Louder is Feral FurE’s Hardstyle treat from the past that he finished and it’s definitely better to have it out there for everypony to enjoy! Uplifting and emotional melodies are accompanying sick Hardstyle beats, and it’s hard not to feel like blasting this at full volume wherever!
Remember Falling – Abysm | Indie Pop
Remember Falling’s newest release has got a pretty deep concept centered around the musician’s OC (not unlike the stuff of a certain Viricide Filly), and it creates the kind of musical vibes that you’re not used to hear, going for the roads untraveled and providing an intriguing instrumental along Remember Falling’s beautiful vocals!
