Ponytronic – Crescent Lament (Vylet Remix) | Jungle Terror

Just wow, Vylet’s done some pretty crazy stuff recently sound design-wise and this is absolutely one of the most out there ones. Here he’s released a remix for Ponytronic’s upcoming album, and he’s taken the jungle terror route – though, this being Vylet, it definitely doesn’t constrain itself to the one genre.

Totalspark & Xavi – Senpai Material | Progressive House

Totalspark and Xavi have teamed up and produced a track about Sunshet Shimmer, whom they’ve evidently decided is totally senpai material. A soft, gently flowing track, this one doesn’t stand out boldly at any point, but it’s really nice to listen to.

[SNMS] Progressive Element – Crystal Fragments | Liquid Drum & Bass

Fresh from the Shika No Mori album released recently, Progressive Element brings us an immersive liquid drum and bass experience filled with wonderfully mixed in vocal samples and some really neat drum breaks – definitely a favourite of mine from the album!

Radiarc – I Know | Orchestral

Recently having been generally a proponent of some of the more dark and atmospheric orchestral releases in the fandom, here brings something a little different to that. Fitting beautifully to the chosen artwork is this calm, sombre piece that causes much contemplation.

ApostropheShy – Party Harder | House

ApostropheShy brings us a super upbeat party anthem that totally fits the spirit of Pinkie Pie, bouncing around in your head. It doesn’t do anything particularly novel, but I don’t think it needs to as this track accomplishes just what it sets out to.

Among The Herd – Est. 2010 (feat. StealingShad3Z) | Punk Metal

StealingShad3Z wonderful clean vocals mixed with Among The Herd’s crisp screams placed on top of a heavy hitting instrumental all come together to make for a super awesome punk metal anthem to the origins of the fandom. If that sounds like something you’re into, check it out!

PrinceWhateverer – So Long (feat. Wubcake & NRGPony) | Metal

Community Metal legend PrinceWhateverer astonishes the audience once again with a brand new track off the upcoming album Reinvent (that is going to be amazing), and it is certainly not failing to hit hard. Gathering the help of friends such as NRGPony (who was already featured in the awesome Taking Flight) and our beloved and ever-so-dazzling VA and singer Wubcake, So Long doesn’t fail to express the deep theme of Moondancer’s feelings as depicted in Amending Fences in a powerful rock spirit while bringing all the sick guitar riffs, heavy drums, delightful vocals all around, and emotional lyrics that you could expect from a PrinceWhateverer production of this genre. I missed the order of the physical deluxe edition of the album that was limited to 100 copies, but you can pre-order Reinvent on its Bandcamp page. The album will be dropping September 7! Yoohoo!

Virus Ponies – Lern off the dream (ft. EnderAsieg) | Chillout

I’m not quite sure if that’s a typo or what, but hey, the song’s pretty cool! It’s a nice chill piece with plenty of melodies bouncing back and forth, and some breakbeat-esque drums to hold a good rhythm alongside them.
